  1. Pull the curtains on the top at Rupp and tip it
  2. Chalk city in this tourney so far. From BGP final poll #1. #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #11, and #18 remain in the quarters. Should make for some good high level basketball the next 3 days.
  3. With a Holmes win 7 of the top 11 and #18 GRC from the last BGP Poll will make up the elite 8
  4. I think Holmes may have scored enough to win this one already
  5. After yesterday and today of following LB, I think Im going to see "trno" in my sleep
  6. Absolutely no upsets today.........CHALK...CHALK....CHALK and more CHALK
  7. Glad that Jordan Brock was able to finish her HS career playing at the state tourney. Obviously bitter sweet (after losing key players at the beginning of the season), Harlan played in 4 consecutive region finals and the last 2 sweet 16 tourneys. Considering the size of the school, that is a heck of a run. Coming into tonight the game had to be played in the 50's to low 60's for Harlan to have a real shot. Down 51 to 39 Harlan cut it to 53-47 and then GRC length and athleticism took over. Great job by GRC and good luck moving forward vs Mercer. As for Jordan Brock, she is worth the price of admission. Im looking forward to her yearly visits to EKU while she plays for Tenn Tech
  8. Ha Ha GRC has 2000 students Harlan 200 .....sorry couldnt resist
  9. inch for inch...she is as good as anyone in this state
  10. Glad Dragons were able to stay in game after that 12 or 13 pt run by GRC
  11. Stage fright vs a really good team with state tourney experience usually ends bad...
  12. Butler with big 3rd qtr run. Congrats..
  13. down 15-12 Butler has a 13-0 run. Down 25-15 SH goes on a 9-0 run. Sounds like a donnybrook coming in the 2nd half
  14. Lots of turnovers and missed gimmes in this game so far
  15. On another note, the 12th region boys winner had 2 transfers from across town. One of them averaged 25 points this year.
  16. Heard that on the radio yesterday afternoon. Kind of surprised the Tebow bill has taken this long to come to a head in the bluegrass
  17. I agree, and the player should be treated as everyone else. Kids don't transfer kids...Parents transfer kids
  18. Some transfers have to happen, while others are ego , grass greener, championship seeking (see this a bunch), aau mentality (remember Rose Hill), one and done driven, psycho parent (lonzo Ball's dad comes to mind) driven. The khsaa is in a no win situation usually with their rulings (litigation pending etc.) Parents are trying to do what is best for their kid is used a lot. Not sure I see this getting anything but worse. I long for the days of "sense of community" and the willingness to overcome adversity rather than some of the alternatives that have been manufactured.
  19. Elliot and West Carter for the 5th time?
  20. 3rd time was charm. Congrats to Black Bears and coach Jones
