  1. Looks like CBS sports is saying he is announcing to go to the draft, via KSR. No surprise, thanks for the memories Julius!! CBS Sports says Julius Randle will enter the draft | Kentucky Sports Radio
  2. That's what I was thinking is there were just doors they didn't show. Billy Bob was absolutely awesome in that episode. Really hope that he isn't only in half the season like someone suggested, not sure how that would play out. But, I liked the first episode a lot, I'll continue to watch.
  3. I believe Patrick Patterson did if i'm not mistaken. Crossing sports, but Matt Barkley did as well.
  4. Seems like they don't like doing the lefty-lefty combo like that with Votto and Bruce back to back.
  5. I'm not contradicting myself at all. You keep saying he isn't expected to be taken in the top 20. You're basing that off of what, mock drafts? I've seen him listed all over the place in the first round, the thing is no one knows where certain guys will go, there are always surprises in the draft. My point, for the final time is, if you think a guy is your Quarterback for the next 10-15 years and you truly 100% believe it, then you take him with the 4th pick. The Browns have gone for the "safe pick" (which no player is a guarantee) for years. I'd much rather them take a chance to hit on the QB they believe in than draft another wide receiver or something like that. Will it work? Maybe not, but at least they'd be trying instead of remaining status quo.
  6. Pitino lives him those New York guys though... glad it ended the way it did :walk:
  7. Everyone sleeping at the wheel? Billy doubled to knock in Raco in the fifth. Reds are up 1-0 in the top of the 6th. Simon pitching another gem.
  8. And maybe all those teams missed the mark on him badly... that could be the case too. If the Seahawks took him 4th instead of when they did, and he went on to play how he has and won the Super Bowl, would anyone blink an eye? Nope. And that's what i've been saying, IF the Browns believe someone is going to be their guy for the foreseeable future, you take him when you can and don't risk it.
  9. Ehh you are probably right. I guess I just try to remain positive despite all evidence about someone suggesting I shouldn't. It is funny you mentioned the liar part, he keep saying he is 6 foot 3 on twitter. Everywhere, and I mean everywhere, you look he is listed at 6'1'' and people call him out about it all the time.
  10. Uhh yeah absolutely they should. So a guy you think can be the quarterback of the future isn't worth the 4th pick? Glad you're not the GM.
  11. I feel the same way. Would he accept a spot in the NFL again? Absolutely. But, I think he truly realizes how deeply he messed up and is just trying to get that feeling only a team can bring to him.
  12. The Browns almost ALWAYS wait until later in the draft, or the first round (Weeden/Quinn) to get a quarterback. I'm saying if they believe there is a guy that is their qb of the future, you take him at pick 4. You don't risk waiting around, you take your guy. If he is the qb of the future, he is worth it at pick 4. There's only going to be so many good qb's out of the class, that's just the way it is, where as wide receivers are a lot easier to come by. Not to mention, they had the leading receiver in the NFL last year and where did it get them? 4-12 and another last place finish that's why. You HAVE to have a QB to win in this league, plain and simple. They could get Calvin Johnson and AJ Green too and it won't matter if they don't have a QB. I'd much rather take a chance of drafting the guy they believe is the qb of the future than something else. Watkins, and any player for that matter, is not guaranteed to be good either.
  13. That is definitely who he is talking about, I hear that all the time. Crazy to think he used to be on Miami's practice squad and they got rid of him, I bet they wish they could re-do that decision. On a related note, it is crazy how soft the NBA is today in comparisons to back then. Those highlights were a great reminder of that.
  14. This would kind of suck if it happened IMO. You know it'd take away some real good players from the college game and I could give a crap less about the NBDL personally... But if it is the TRUE best interest of young players then I will support whatever.
  15. That's where I work out too. I wish they'd start a league there...
  16. Not saying they are out to get them, but certain things bring a lot more attention for one program, person, etc than others. Coach K with Maggette and the boys for example. Let's be honest, there are a ton of Duke/UNC/ACC guys at ESPN and ignore things like this about them. I mean, UNC basically has had a huge academic scandal going on for how long now and we barely hear about it, almost not a peep from ESPN especially...
  17. May be the case. I'd have to say if this was a UK player that said something like this and then did the opposite of what he said he'd be getting crushed about it. But yes, it is all about the money, and the best decision as well.
  18. Which is weird reoprters were saying that because at the time of those reports he literally had one private workout. Welcome to silly season in the NFL!
  19. Here is the quote... a little hypocritical there Jabari “I think in college they give you a chance to really mature, form yourself and build relationships. I think that’s what a team is all about, and when you build relationships, it shows on the court and that brings out success. I love the whole attitude of staying in college to take advantage of a free education. I just felt like Kentucky wasn’t a fit for me. The whole attitude and approach of the one-and-dones, that’s good for them, that’s their decision. But I think [Duke] Coach [Mike Krzyzewski] is a guru of basketball. I want to learn from one of the best.”
  20. As a Browns fan, I will be extremely mad if they take Watkins with the 4th pick. The WR class is crazy deep, there is no need to spend your highest draft pick on that in the Browns situation. They need a quarterback, and have since the beginning of time it feels like, they need to take "their guy" at 4, whoever that may be.
