Boyle just caught 2 HUGE breaks on that drive. 1st "fumble" the ball looked out on the stream but was called down. 2nd was a clear fumble that LexCath missed an easy recovery.

Crazy how 2 of LexCath, Dunbar, LCA, and Lafayette won't even make the region tournament.

This a good thing. The professional team in Washington should change their name soon but they probably won't considering their idiot owner.

It's tough losing 5 senior starters but I think the Knights can be a very good team by season's end. Seniors Donovan Morris and JJ Ogbogu will form a pair of guards that are as athletic and quick as any in the state. Junior Peter Whitman goes about 6'7 or 6'8 in the post and if he makes the jump that his brother Jack did in between his soph and jr seasons he can make this team a contender in the 11th quick. Junior Luke Johnson is back after transferring from Lafayette, where he sat out the season, just a year after he had transferred there from Catholic. He is a very good guard. Sophomore wing players TC Price (who has an offer from Toldeo) and Zan Payne (son of UK assistant Kenny Payne) are a pair of high potential players that will need to contribute despite their youth.

35-0 at half. Andy Thompson brought the opening kickoff back for a TD. WH only scores came on a kickoff return and then on the JV D. JJ Ogbogu had 3 catches for approximately 150 yards and 3 TDs. If the announcers were correct his reception from Kirk Fagot set a school record going for 87 yards. Jaylen Jones had 3 TDs rushing for the Knights. Western Hills does have a really good freshman in #13 and some other athletes but district play will be tough for them.

CAL has won the last 2 regular season games only for DeSales to win state IIRC
