SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! SK lost everything to graduation and is rebuilding this year!

PA has separate tournaments for public schools and catholic schools. T and X should be in a gcl type league with the Indy Cathedrals, Moellers and LaSalles of the world. Beating your chests winning KY 6A is like a varsity squad celebrating a win over a pee wee team. After 50 years of domination why is there no response from the rest of 6A? Simply rotating tournament brackets is a joke. Everyone knows that you are playing for second place, including the kids in your feeder. Compelling public schools to compete with T and X is a major reason for mediocrity in 6A. Kids want a reasonable chance to compete for titles, and without that, 6A schools will continue to hemorrhage talent. KHSAA has given 6A the middle finger for 50 years. Its time to return the favor!

Well, obviously their kids are more committed and thier coaching superior.

Enrollment differences are definitely a big reason for the talent gap, especially in a class that has NO upper boundary.

Whose complaining? I'm making a statement of fact. The best players in the state are concentrated in Metro Louisville. Is it really that difficult a point to concede?

Do you confirm or deny that Louisville is a deeper talent pool than the rest of the state? Or are you in RCC9 camp that says our kids are lazy and our coaches inferior????? Lets put it on the record!

Can some of Louisville folks chime in for RCC9's sake and confirm that Metro Louisville is simply a deeper talent pool than the rest of the state? Furthermore, I can tell you that manyFBS programs only recruit KY in Louisville and ignore the rest of the state.

Where is Ram's commitment list when you need it? Can somebody find that quickly? It has a list of D1 offered kids. By location, Metro Louisville dominates the list.

Does Lloyd have a program?

Sorry, but that is an ignorant statement. There is a reason that Louisville can field its own all star team against an all star team from the REST OF THE STATE!

30 years of results tends to refute your arguments. Male and Manual don't play T's schedule and they still dominate the rest of 6A. Scheduling is irrelevant if you don't have the talent!

You want to bring up Holmes, I'll bring up McCracken. Scoreboard This program was formed by the consolidation of three different schools. All had football programs. After the consolidation, there is plenty of talent and depth. Can't get out of the first round against Manual losing by two scores on their OWN field. Educated guess is that this team was close to Dixie in caliber. Was 10 - 2 beating a pretty good team from Mississippi. I'm betting some of the kids in their feeders will look hard at Mayfield.

I have no doubt the rest of the state could not compete with Male or Manual either.

We educate the most profoundly disadvantaged economically, developmentally challenged students in the state. That sounds Christ like if you ask me. Furthermore, these students count towards classification enrollment criteria. We don't get to CHOOSE our students!

I have nothing against Trinity, St. X or any other Catholic school. All I'm saying is that public 6A schools, especially those outside of Louisville cannot compete for titles. This is supported by 30 plus years of results now. 6A schools will continue to hemorrhage talent as long as they are compelled to compete on the existing playing field.

Your logic is flawed. Just because you need urban athletes to be competitive in 6a does not mean if you have them you will be successful. Did they offer a class in logic at HHS? Guess not!
