As far as the player, you are absolutely correct. Most parents do not know where the marginal line is. As far as the coach, marginal as far as trying to build a program and setting a standard for acceptable behavior. Like it or not you kid does bring your attitude with them to the team. The best thing to is keep your mouth shut. Support your kids and their coaches. Most important keep your opinions to yourself in public. Kids do get cut because of their parents,be it Mom or Dad, if you see your kid getting very little playing time in summer it maybe a message that you need to support your kid's coach. The mortal sin of coaching is when a coach is lying to your kid. Then all is fair!

...which you are not. Do you cut a kid whose parent has been mouthing off about the coaching staff? There has always been parents criticizing coaches in the stands and to there friends and to their kids. Now with social media and people hiding behind fictional names (they think), is it just not worth the time to dig through the muck to get their kid on board.

They graduate their only scoring threats, Huff and Brock. Ben Toebbe may be a scoring threat in the future. JT Toebbe, Bankamper, and the Benson kids are not scoring threats. Grant cannot move the game to Friday, to Holmes, to accommodate the Holmes senior night because the Thursday game with Holmes is Grants senior night. It looks like both teams need a home game. I'm sure Grant is doing what is best for their kids and Walter is only slanting the story Holmes way.
