Looks like the rain is getting close here the western part of the state. We are going to Webster County for a triangle today. Forecast says we might get one in. Maybe further east it will hold off long enough to get a couple in. One bright spot here is once it hits the rivers the rains look like the rains are splitting. Probably wishful thinking. Hopefully it will go north and south of us and stay above the rivers.

Male, Scott County, and East Carter playing tomorrow. I believe this would be worth the price of admission.

Sophie is doing OK. She has committed to Georgetown. When on she can be as tough as anyone. We have played a tough schedule this year. It looks like we aren't having a good season but we knew going in that the record wouldn't look as good. Our district has also improved. The rain has been hard on our pitchers this year. But back to your question she's doing fine. She's still a little upset about the All A but that was just a small goal in her big picture.

In a big district matchup Crittenden gets past Lyon County 4-3. The deciding blow was a 2 run shot by Cassidy Moss. This leaves Crittenden County as a number 1 seed going into the 5th district tournament. Lyon County will face the number 3 seed Trigg County. Crittenden will get the 4 seed Livingston County.

This is a great thing congrats to all. This is a hope of mine for our program. Too many times this year our JV team suffered because of rain and scheduling conflicts. These girls are our programs futures. I want to try and do something like this here in the Western part of the State. Good job coaches and players and all involved.

Kaylee Tow- Madisonville North Hopkins High School The best, most disciplined, and humble player I've had the honor to watch. This young lady has no weaknesses in her game. I don't coach or actually know her other than meeting her during games or watching her. She is headed to Alabama next year. Kaylee is what us old-timers would call a 5-tool player. If you haven't had the chance to see her play it's worth the drive. Just a thought I've watched her all through her high school career and have never seen her have a bad at-bat. Believe the hype because this young lady is a ball-player. I believe she might have been within 10 or so of the all time HR record to start the season. I haven't kept up with her stats this year but I know she was close.

UHA is back in boys and girls.

I haven't spoken with anyone from UHA. I do know Coach Odaniel personally and haven't heard that they weren't fielding a team. I know they lost some players last year. They will still be the top small school out of the 2nd region.

I have no problem with a high ranking for them. But number 1 goes through McCracken County. They have almost everyone from a State Championship team returning. The key players are 2 of the best pitchers in the state. Those pitchers are pushing each other to be number 1 on the staff.
