Would the girls have to sit out a year of athletics? I believe one of the girls was in high school last year at Conner.

You have to make plays if you want to win close games. Suggestion: NDA and Conner should schedule more than one game next year.

Who ever wins this game will get Montgomery County the first round at State. Montgomery County knocked off heavy favorite Bourbon County in 10th region championship. Bourbon County one the three previous meetings with Montgomery county by an average of 10 runs per game.

Not in Region Nine. First two games district runner ups were home team, due to coin flip prior to start of game.

I agree that the NKU field surface is not what you would want from a D1 field. Bottom line is both teams play on the same field and there was not one play from a field stand point that had any effect on the outcome of the game. So, why are we talking about this. Great job Conner and great job to Holly Cross for a productive year. I also would like to wish the Moran girl good luck at the next level. Wow what a great player, even though she did not have her best game. When she takes the field, you know she is a player, without question

Field looked fine and most of Holly Cross errors where throwing. I would like to know the list of Several High School fields that are better surfaces than NKU's field. Everyone plays on the same surface.

Winning your district should at least give you home field advantage. NCC and Conner each won their districts but had to play as visiting team. NDA has not lost in their region and because of a coin flip they could be visitors against Boone. It does not make much sense.

Definitely was some bad defense today. Conner did play error free, but I was surprised at some of the plays that holly cross did not make. SS had three errors in one inning and she is rock solid. It can happen to the best.

I believe that NDA has more outstanding players than Boone, but Boone will usually put the ball in play. Both teams should be similar in offensive production, in regards to hits. Fewest errors will win this game.
