Great point. Harrow almost quit in December because Cal was being Cal and pushing him. Speaks volumes of his mental state IMO. Kentucky shouldn't have to have guys transfer from lesser schools (NC State and Wright State) and not only play there but start. As good as Darius Miller was, as previously stated, he's 6'7 and could guard every position on the floor. That was a small part of what made him so valuable.

Great high school player. I'm one of his biggest fans, believe me. However, are you really saying because he had a good game against the twins he'll be productive at UK? Seriously...come back to reality. Polson plays because Harrow is that bad AND what kind of numbers has Polson put up? Look deeper into a situation....lastly with Polson getting those minutes they are only 17-7 with the NCAA no lock.

Polson is only playing because Cal didn't recruit a pg...thought Harrow was the answer. Your comment should show you how bad Harrow is.

I'm not even going to read the rest of the comments. Darius Miller is 6'7 and Hawkins is 6'0. I love Hawkins but no way no how can he play at UK....no way.

Pretty good schedule. You obviously don't think very highly of HC and never have. However, they have given their naysayers plenty of ammunition lately. New season starts Monday and that's all that matters.

Anyone have the status of Whitman? He looked to be injured and was taken out with over 5 minutes to go and the game very much in doubt. Also, Dylan Portwood went down with an apparent ankle injury. Status? This rivalry has changed. The gym was maybe half full with little to no electricity that usually goes with this heated rivalry.

PCC might not see the region having to play Hazard in the semis. When is that game?

Brutal district. Shame those three teams all can't be in the region. Especially after the way two of the districts drew.

Very Jekyll and Hyde. It seems the word is out that Henry Clay has little to no answer for a zone defense.

And with the 10th region being "down" this year, might not see a close game until Rupp but there usually is that one game each team must figure out a way to win. Wish them the best.

My point was that they have not played a close game yet. It wasn't a knock on anyone. They have had a great year but if anyone thinks any team will get to Rupp without having to play at least one game that is a one or two possession game then they are delusional.

This should be a great tournament to watch!

Following the scores it is becoming eerily similar to all of the close games Henry Clay seems to be losing. Since Christmas Henry Clay is 1-4 in games decided by 5 points or less according to KHSAA website. Is this a result of a tough schedule or something else?

Big loser in the draw is Bryan Station. They always seem to struggle with the Cardinals. After beating them at home, the Defenders went to Scott County and completely changed their game plan from pressing and attacking the basket to a box and one defense which led to a Trent Gilbert explosion of 34 points and a 15 point defeat. Scott County and Henry Clay will advance to EKU.

It seems as if Station has struggled since beating Lafayette, Scott County and Henry Clay. Mite have peaked too early and with them drawing Scott Co at Scott Co in the district tournament I see an early exit from the Defenders.

By 16? I'll take that all day long....running clock in the 2nd half.
