Fire Inside

Games where not very good today at SK. Holmes/CC game was alright but Holmes was up by a big margin when I left. Newport beat a short handed Ludlow team. Ludlow borrowed a SK JV to have six kids. SK beat Newport pretty good then SK JV play Flemingsburg and kept it very close to the end and Flemingsburg pulled away. SK plays at Grant on Saturday against Ryle and Hancock County.

McClendon looked like McClendon, got to the rim and knocked down a few jumpers, probably had 20. I wouldn't say Arnold was "killing it" but he played good. I didn't see their game with Grant but Grant has no inside players at all, so he might have been "killing it". In the SK game, he outworked the sophomore big that was trying to guard him and he probably had 10 or so points. Moore was a non factor in the SK game, didn't realize he was even on the floor. The other two starters didn't do much either. Mullins would have made a huge difference.

Grant beat Dixie SK and Holmes tied Holmes beat Grant SK beat Dixie

One wants to concentrate on football and the other on school.

Racke and Walker quit.

Everyone, Hawkins Sammon Cottrell Fries and Williams started. I believe he started Williams to keep him loose. He is struggling with a hip issue, he sat second game. Back up was a bunch of youngins, Sam Murray played very well at PG, Chaz Kitchens, Zach Kelsch and the Sergant kid.

Newport beat Campbell Sk beat Campbell Cov Cath beat Cambell Cov Cath beat SK Grant beat Ludlow I know Cooper won both games as well

What??? This isn't a "I hate AAU" and "I'm jealous basketball can play in the summer and football can't" thread.

Austin Crawford may have something to say about that.

Good luck to them, good group of kids.

Schedule has changed due to Conner dropping out because a few kids are playing summer baseball.

Who is pitching?

Where did you get your Traeger? Which one did you get? Been looking at them myself. Any issues with it?

Delete please, thanks

Shining Stars KY U17 1-1 U16 2-0 U15 Lay 2-0 U15 Holland 1-0

Does Mathew Reynolds play for CC?

Shining Stars are in Kings Island Tourny in Cincy and Hoopsters told me they where going to Three Stripes.

I have been told for the last few years he would have to leave his Sr year because of age. Is that the reason?

The June HS basketball period is just two weeks away. Who is having local team camps other than usual Transy, Gtown? Who and what are you watching for? Some of the things and I watching for is: -Who will step up for Cov Cath to help Flood and CVH -The seniors at Holmes is the group that won state in middle school. Will Holmes be a leader in the 9th -Dixie lost everybody but Meyer, who steps up them -Does McNeil prove he is the best player in the region -Of course who are the young kids who are going to make a name for themselves starting this summer

LCA had three overtime games in a row then a game with a fight. They got over two hours behind.
