Update May 5, 2025 - Work continues on the building, the metal roof deck is being installed. The first base for the field has been applied and field events for track are being added. The below picture shows how the road going into the facility was changed.

Yes, they moved the field to the far back on the property and change the orientation. They had to build a retaining wall to support the field. The field was raised 4 feet higher than the old field. By raising the field and pushing it back will allow for more parking in front of the new facility. The drive into the facility was changed, so now you will have a more straight drive to the parking area. The old right turn the left turn is gone.

Update April 18 2025 - Field lighting going into place. Field drainage close to complete and first layer of field media being applied. Concrete walkway around the track in progress. Two of the four lighting poles are set, Field water drainage system. First layer of field media being applied Concrete walkway around the track. This is the start of the left turn. Post hole forms are being place for fencing around the right turn.

Update - April 13 2025 - Building steel assembly getting close to being completed. They are working on the middle structure. This is the rendering I have not sure if it is the latest. Front view of current progress View from the back - field side view

Update April 3rd, 2025 - Progress on the building steel assembly is moving fast. They started on the second building yesterday. Also, the curb between the track and field is progressing. Update - 3/31/25 - Big milestone, started to build the first building today. Projects first bucket of dirt was moved on May 30th, 2024. Pic taken at noon today.

Update - 3/28/25 - Work on the building concrete pad/floor is mostly complete. They are now moving the steel building structures in place to begin the assembly. Duke Energy is moving the electrical. The first light pole component is being set in place. They moved the mobile office so they can begin working on adding additional walls. Duke working on the electrical lines Staging the Steel for building. The mobile office that was in the background was move to another location Work continues on the field water drainage.

Update 2/17/25 - Pouring the concrete floor for building on the right as you enter the facility. Views from different angles taken before noon today. As of 4pm the second building floor prep is almost completed (no picture)

Update: 3/10/2025 - Foundation almost completed. They are applying a Lime solution to the field to dry and help the leveling of the field and compact the dirt. Update as of 3/5/25 - Rough in of Plumbing mostly completed. Next is the block foundation to start this week. Will be about two block high. After that will be pouring the floor and then building assembly will start. The steps for the upper parking area to the facility are complete. This will help the workers that park there to get to the facility easier. Rough-in of Plumbing - Also notice the wall in the back had the vertical I-Beams painted Gray. Steps to the facility. Not sure of the timing. I know they are hoping for good weather so they can keep progressing. Today they were back moving dirt. I also noticed new survey markings on the ground for additional footers.

Update Tuesday Jan 14th - Temp 23 degrees feels like 13 degrees Work continues on the footers and storm water drainage on the backside of the building closest to the track and field.

Update Jan 2nd 2025 - 40 degrees with 33 degree wind chill. Progress being made on footers. Back side of the building is being finished. Right side was finished in last update now staring on the left side. Concrete panels have been installed on the Left turn wall. The right turn wall is being backfilled and leveled.

Work on the footers for the building are in process. The first building footer is 3/4 complete. In total there will be 3 buildings. Weather has slowed progress on the footers.

Update Dec 20th 2024 - Additional building materials have been delivered. Also, some of the field lighting has arrived.

Project Update Dec 3 2024 - Cold - 25 degrees Work started on building - Rebar for building footers is being assembled.

Work to back-fill the right turn wall with drainage rock is in-process.

Update Nov 25th 2024 - Excavation work has slowed due to weather. New Building materials have been delivered.

I agree with all that has been said about the announcing however, I did appreciate being able to watch the game from home. After a while I found it funny and in a way some what entertaining.

He must be down on the field. The camera view is to far away for my old eyes.

New Water main being extended to facility building. Work on the new building is schedule to begin around Thanksgiving. Water main hookup access New fire hydrant for emergency access
