  1. When I agree with them, they are good, when I don't, not so much! Overall I would say they do a good job.
  2. How did the scrimmage go?
  3. lineup from top to bottom is stronger than anyones. pitching is as good. Just the way I seez it.
  4. 1. Conner- Most complete team, by far. If they don't win it this year, they need their heads examined. Drop off then 2 and 2a) Ryle Boone 4. Notre Dame--they didn't fare too well against the better teams last year. Smith helps but perhaps not enough. 5. Highlands. The rest.
  5. Didn't make it to the game myself, but my peeps tell me that Noelle pitched a great game.
  6. Defense is the key. Pitching is certainly part of that, but you have to field the ball. Give a team more than 3 outs and they score 9 times out of 10 it seems. 9th region defense has been sketchy. Ryle has played the best D and that is why they have won. They haven't had the best pitching (or not so much better than everyone else, ie Boone, Conner St Henry, etc to mke the difference) Their lineup wasn't any better. They fielded the ball better. Give me 9 who can play good D and I would take my chances.
  7. Whomever the coach tells to catch. I would suppose Gabby Stewart would be the catcher.
  8. Come now. Its not like she plays football.
  9. They had their chances the last three years but Defense wins this region and they had lapses there. In this region, if you have a pitcher thats good enough to win (about 4-5 teams) the team that plays the best D wins.
  10. Hope she can build a program. St. Henry is definately a place where a very solid program could be built, since it has everything you need to be able to do that. Facilities are good and not far from great. Hopefully she is well supported and can get build the program with getting interest from more girls. I know there is a lot of excitment with this hire. :thumb:
  11. Yes they do, but perhaps they think with 7 players they can do with a minivan.
  12. Who needs a coach? All they do is cause problems for the parents anyway. I say let the seniors coach the team. They are old enough to drive the bus too.
  13. You mean they are getting a coach? Where did you get that information?
  14. Will St. Henry's 7 be able to beat Beechwood's 9?
  15. Did you apply Lawnboy? You make it sound like an attractive gig.
  16. Lawnboy You ready to coach em next year?
  17. That team needs to stay together, or the majority of it does.
  18. Have no clue. Hope she makes a choice that she is happy with. High School should be a great experience in many ways. Good luck to her in whatever choice she makes.
  19. If she had to come with him, well, I don't know but it probably wouldn't break the deal. Now thats funny.
  20. St Henry would welcome Rob Smith. Hellava coach.
  21. Good luck. Say hi to everyone for me.
