Watch out for Simon Kenton!!!

I say this Simon team will be a tough out in the region 8 tournament. Coming together at the end of the year, have two big wins in the last week (Conner, NCC) and if their guards continue to play as they have over the last few weeks they are REAL good. Coach is definitely an x factor. Paige sure does help inside. Did she move into the district?

Appreciate the feedback, for me I have only seen her play for Boone. I am not surprised to hear she excel's at the highest level. I am sure she will accomplish whatever she wants to on the BB court. I do not know her personally but I can tell by her demeanor on the court that she is a quality person.

Sure do think Holy Cross (Covington) is a top 20 team. I predict they win the ninth!

I guess it is too hard to compare her against top D 1 talent based on what she accomplishes playing for Boone but I truly think she is one of the best basketball players I have ever seen! Cant image her not making it but I guess it is a great gauge to see where she stands compared to top D 1 talent. I put my money on her making the team and wish her the best of luck. In my opinion what is most impressive about Sydney is her composer and ability to make teammates much better. That is something that does not show up in the stat book!

The officiating did not cost Conner this game. I think Jenna played a little more than a 1/2 qt in the first but she sat the entire second. Jenna just hitting the middle in third and hitting those two threes took Conner out of their zone. Ashley also hit two big three's in third. Conner attempted to counter and could not hit the bigs shots. Thats why they were forced to foul. I thought overall the refs took this game very serious and did a good job. To win one of these games Conner will need to make their shots. I have seen them do just that and beat some good teams. I believe Conner's shooters will catch fire and will beat Ryle or Boone this season.

Nick Watts will be a very athletic player and I believe he works hard off the court. He is also a great kid and student. Look forward to watching him excel at Conner, hope coach Hicks gives this kid the ability to play his game if so he will be exciting.

Yes you are correct, we are truly blessed when it comes to Moss and getting to watch her play. In my opinion a player like her only comes around every so often. I do also think Jenna Crittendon is playing at a D 1 level, NKY is very lucky to have both those players in the 9th. I think Lea Schaffer is next years leading player in the ninth.

I would guess and it's only an opinion but if Moss was out from the tip the outcome would have been different. It is encouraging to hear they played well in that time frame without her but logic is remove a player that averages over 20 a game and it is going to have an impact. Not putting the Boone girls down but she is the only player in NKY that is averaging 20 plus a night. Tough to replace that!

Yes they would and Conner is right there. Love watching them play coach Stamm's Style.I put NCC there because of their x factor, Coach and that system. Insert players and they run the system which I do think would allow them to beat a top five team. Remember Highlands avenged their loss against Conner. I think if those two play ten times it comes out 5/5. I do not think NCC can score enough to challenge for the region but they are in the top six and then it falls from there.

Here is my 2 cents, Ryle is the best team in the 9th, ND and Boone are next two, however take Moss away from Boone and they drop, Conner and Highlands are next, mix them up and NCC is after that. Any one of those six team could beat one another on a given night but of course the bottom 3 would need to be at their best to beat Ryle. I do think Conner will beat Ryle or Boone once this season. Conner has Boone at home and then they host the district. They are unbeaten at home and tough to beat. They are a top five team in the region and most experts stated last year they had NO talent. I think they have proven those so called experts wrong.
