Are there Sunday games?

If "chirping' is sending out their players stats to get them pub, they are guilty as charged I guess. They do it for ALL their players, not just the BW kids. Coaches are criticized either way. Either they don't do enough to get the kids exposure, or they do to much. That twitter account has over 1000 followers, many of them college coaches who want to see that stuff as it's the only way they can follow their commits or recruits. Lord knows the local press isn't busting down any doors to get baseball stats out. I just don't get the mentality of some of you haters, it can honestly only be categorized by one little J word. BTW, fairly certain I read BW had three hits, all from Midland kids. Chirp Chirp.

You are correct, I was speaking defensively, and was certainly not a shot at Conner in any way, guess I can see how that could have been taken. The Conner kid had some nasty stuff, and BW scored 2 runs. That would't have changed no matter who was on the hill or in the field.

Wow. I am not sure I have heard this injury on baseball field. Heart go out to kid.

I will say I got to this one in the 4th inning. Score was 5-2, and the only regulars for BW on the field we Stringer and Schmidt. Considering Doc Morris coming up, really surpeised Connor went with their ace. Guess it was more important to them.

Suchanek was great on the hill, St. Henry was overmatched outside of Rogers and big kid at third. Usual suspects at the plate for BW, you know, the ones you arent allowed to mention. St H threw a lefty that couldnt have been breaking 60mph. Was tough, and BW hit a lot of balls really hard for outs.

Correct. BW pitched JV pitchers most of game until 6th. I think LaSalle may have done same, but cant confirm. Stringer pitched an inning an was all over the place, three walks and two bloop hits, 4 ER. I only add this for the negative nellies begging for one of the Midland kids to bomb.

That is EXACTLY right, but because there are some unrealistic people around here that have them all getting drafted in the first round (I call it the UK#1Fan syndrome)people do nothing but look for reasons to knock them down. Those are three GREAT kids, very humble and extremely hard workers, they have earned the recognition they get, every second of it. Just as Suchanek has, who is the leader of that team and the one all these kids look up to.

Tell you what I will do. Since we live in the world where everyone gets a trophy, I will call Coach Carney at Midland and see if he will start tweeting out stats of all the kids on Beechwood, not just the ones that actually play for him. Every time you talk about someone successful on this board, out come all the guys who sat the bench in HS or were role players, screaming for equality. How about some of you post stats of other kids? Yes, it was Dayton. It was on the schedule, they had to play it. Should those numbers not count? I will also ask Coach to tweet out every time one of his kids go 0fer, or give up a HR, since most of you guys live for the minute one of these kids has a bad game. And just as an FYI, they do,and inevitably comes the post "I saw so and so play one game, he is so overrated".......

So let me get this straight. A bunch of old guys talking about a game and players caused a player to give up a HR? Thats too bad, had no idea. If you are somehow implying those kids are selfish, you couldnt be any further off base. Again, its a twitter feed for the love of god. They do it for all their kids. Shockingly, they typically dont tweet it when a thawk goes 0-4 or gives up a GS, but they dont need to. There are always plenty of negative old guys to bring that kind of stuff up, even a year later.

Show me a site that posts info and I will gladly link it. Better yet, how about you do it? Unreal, I dont go to these games, its simply a twitter feed I follow. They have no reason to post about other kids. You got stats for us, or just complaining?

When Suchanek pitches, Booth moves to SS, he may actually be a better defensive player. When Stringer pitches, Fieger moves to CF, he may be a better defensive OF. Combs is not on the field to play defense, no drop off there. RF may struggle a bit when Fieger pitches, but it's RF. You can plug someone in there and it won't typically kill you. Any drop off in fielding is negated by the quality of arms on the mounds. Those kids don't get hit hard very often.

I agree, and who am I to argue the success Krumps has, but when you constantly give away outs with the sac bunt, your margin of error shrinks and you play way too many close games. The sac has a place, but not sure it's all the time, every time. You let a lot of teams hang around and keep games closer.

I make no claims to validity here, considering SuchaNer got the W and SuchaMer went 4-5, I assume this is the same kid, SUCHANEK. If that team gets that kind of production out of the bottom of the lineup, from Rundle on down, they are going to be a load. I was going to make it out to this one, but ended up spending entire night at the Moe/Louisville St. X game, which was a great one, went 12 I believe.

Sure they will. Keep beating goid teams, it will happen. CC is a good start, but up to that point it looked like your football coach made the schedule.

Why? That district is not much less competitive that the one NCC plays in. As stated, BW gets plenty of comp in regular season. They schedule Cov Cath every year and play at least 1 6a school. Unlike a much talked about 6a school around here who plays an awful regular season schedule and plays in the softest district in the state at it's class.

Your list is actually very good, at least you attempted to stay on point. Every thread gets derailed by a certain SK guy, who has no clue what the difference is in "getting looked at" and getting recruited.
