News from Lexington KY. Second surgery went very well. Will be in the ICU another day and possibly 10 more days for recovery.

Spoke with a parent who is at UK Hospital. First surgery performed to stabilize him today. Second surgery scheduled for tomorrow.

Cov Cath graduate from 2015, Brian Haughey, was in a car accident and is in serious but stable condition at UK Hospital. Brian was a WR for the football team last year and a pitcher for the varisty baseball team. Prayers for a speedy recovery

I spoke to some one that was on the CCH sideline and it was Coach Hovan that interfered with the ref.

The only common opponent is Grant County. Enough said!

I thought the penalties were one sided against CCH. I didn't see the ref warn CCH about the sideline issue prior to throwing the 2 flags. I get the first flag is a warning but many times I have seen refs approach the coaches and give them a heads up and let the coaches correct. Same ref threw almost every flag against CCH all night.

What about Austin Crawford at Bracken County?

I would hope so. From what I have heard from CCH insiders is that the KHSAA was pushing for the change as well as the soccer teams run at state helped.

That is not what I heard. A parent of a player received a call from their son that confirmed the change. If the soccer team wins on Wednesday, the change in the game time would allow more CCH fans to travel to LexKY on Saturday.
