  1. I am interested to here from those that said Dixie needed changes. He said in the article that he was goign to keep doing the things they had been doing and that he was not going to bring sweeping change. How does everyone feel about that? (not taking sides, just interested to here the thoughts)
  2. Nov 25 7:30 PM at Holy Cross/Newport Central Catholic winner So at Holmes High School.
  3. Hard to say that they are a "program on the rise." If they would have played the 6A schedule, their win total would have been much less. Their win totals aren't that different from the previous years either, so it doesn't show imporvement (maybe consistency). They will have to actually play Dixie and SK to prove they are better.
  4. To prove that Scott will need to actually play both Dixie and Simon Kenton.
  5. Me too!!! I miss the score updates, as well.
  6. It wouldn't suprise me that the stations have it wrong, they give more attention to the Ohio schools.
  7. nkysports.com and Fox 19 must have it wrong, they are reporting 76-12
  8. I saw the final as 76-12.
  9. Must have been after the Alabama fans bought his dinner and paid off his mortgage.
  10. We like to say that rules are balck and white / cut and dry. But they are not. Many rules are open to the interpretaion of the official. For instance; pass interference has a rule to go by, but it is up to the determination of the official if he believes it fits or not. The same can be said for unsportsmanlike conduct, holding, etc. This is one of those cases that (in my opinion) could have been interpreted to be a good no call.
  11. I hate that people don't remember that there were some good teams and some success while Lucas was with the Juggs. He did have them playing on Thanksgiving weekend and one win away from a state title game.
  12. Dixie gave up a lot of points to a AA team. They were only missing one person. That isn't enough to fix giving up all of those points.
  13. Back in 2004 Dixie beat Trinity in a playoff game like this. They had the lead and the ball and were able to run the clock out. I believe they had a couple of delay of game penalties, but don't remember how many or the exact penalties.
