Was a running clock put on PT back in 2017 and 18 ? Mayfield won 47-14 and 51-27. Big victories are nothing new in this series.

This game could be a bellwether game for Mayfield. They play a competitive game and learn a few things , this game could pay dividends in the playoffs.

Seems to me, PT should have beefed upped their schedule some. They aren't going to be challenged any before deep in the playoffs and they need to be.

Two great PT teams I have seen are the 1973 team and the 2003 team. The 73 team won a State title and beat Mayfield 50 something to nothing. The 2003 team had Joe Casey who is the best high school running back I’ve seen in person. Plus Hunter Cantwell who was a great quarterback and a host of other good players. They also handle Mayfield easily that season. I’ll hold judgment on this team until I’ve seen them play in person.

If Mayfield can stay within 2 scores in the 3rd Quarter, be somewhat competitive, then we will be alright for 2A ball. Mayfield will have to run the ball successfully to somewhat compete with this PT team. It's about growing as a team.

It doesn't have a courthouse like a town. The only town like is MT Washington which is in Anderson Township. Your mail says Cincinnati. Colerain is another township in Cincinnati amongst others. These are the suburbs of Cincinnati.

I'd say Mayfield is more talented, Graves more seasoned.

Congratulations to the Eagles, they played a good game. Gregory played very well and the receivers made some great catches. I’m not discouraged by this loss. We got beat by a good team.

Well since my father and son both played for Mayfield and I was born in Mayfield, I would say Mayfield. I only lived in Cincinnati for 6 years. I have very fond memories of Cincy and had my growing up years there (14-20). I remember back when in I was there (the 70's) Mayfield would have waxed Anderson but I think the tables have turned, Anderson would beat them now. A side note, I played basketball and graduated with Richard Dotson a pitcher for the White Sox, a great athlete.

I graduated from Anderson so I will be pulling for them. I was up there about two weeks ago and went by the old school, nice school with great facility's.
