I will be watching NewCath-HC from on top of the hill.
I don't blame you, I typically enjoyed watching from the hill instead of in the stands in past games as well.
-
I'll be going to the Simon Kenton and Ryle game. If this game had not been going on, I would have likely traveled to Johnson Central for their game with Highlands.
-
LCA should win without much trouble, if any.
-
Has SK EVER beaten Highlands, and if they have, when was it?
I do not know, but if they did, it has been a very long time.
-
I'd be happy with both of them
Good point, I believe anyone would have been
-
I believe that this is going to be a game based off of a lot of defense and do not believe that it is going to be very high scoring.
-
I don't know if I would say that it is an unsuccessful season for which ever one loses, but if one was, I would say it is more likely so with Simon Kenton due fairly close to the same reason that Clyde believes. I would say that the loser will be very disappointed, due to the winner being one game away from the championship. The further one advances and loses in the playoffs, the harder it is for the losing team.

Next week in the Semi's if it happens.
Thank you

If Boyle and Bell face one another during 4A race, will it have to be for state championship or next week? Just curious.
-
Faster than Highlands?
Good question, from what others are saying, Beechwood will face the most speed they have since Highlands against Frankfort.
-
Should be a fairly close one in which I believe that New Cath should win. This is definitely one that can't allow for a lot of penalties (like the Beechwood game) or turnovers. HC is playing good, but I'll still go with NC. Good luck Breds.
-
Size or speed? I will go with speed. Mayfield should win in what could be a good game.
-
I'm picking Belfry to win close since the game is at Belfry. However, I wouldn't be surprised to hear of a Russell win. The game should be close either way.

Welcome to the Class 6 A Championship game. If you don't think it is you're not smarter than a 5th grader. Rain would help X a lot, but it looks like it's just gonna be chilly. No 40+ point spread this time, but I will say a 17 point Shamrock win sounds about right. Now if T makes as many turnovers as Ballard then anything can happen.
You are probably right, Ryle or Simon Kenton will have to do something significant for me to think differently, which I don't see happening.
-
You have to add the close games with CCH and Dixie to the mix also I would think.
I don't believe that the Ryle loss has as much to do with it as others think. Ryle has a very good team this year. I believe that the last game against Dixie and the one against Cov Cath could definitley have something to do with it, which still doesn't say a lot. Dixie has very good players, especially Pike at quarterback and Cov Cath made a lot of improvements over what was a bad start to the early part of the season.

I'm not doubting what Hazard is capable of, a lot do not know of them from other areas. Is this year's team better than the one from two years ago?
-
St. X should make more of a game this time, but I still believe that Trinity will win.
-
I've thought about this for a few days since my last post. I still do not see a significant advantage going to either team. I believe that the point margin at the final of this one is going to be very close, just like the last one. Which ever team is smartest with the ball and doesn't turn over will likely be the winner.
-
Hazard should win big
-
I think Beechwood in a fairly close one.
-
Let's not get to carried away people. Mayfield and Beechwood are the class of 1A, but they aren't playing with Boyle, Bell, or Highlands. Put the pipe down...
Agree.
-
So they are going to start the coaching carousel with football as well as basketball? Absolutely ridiculous to let a guy go after one season.
I couldn't agree with you more, people need at least a chance, and one season is not a chance no matter where you are at in the high school level.
-
This post is not about others being better than him, it is about a talented young man that has accomplished doing something that many dream of. Congratulations Conner.

Mayfield could compete for any state championship in Kentucky this year, except 6A.
Class A-3A likely, 4A and up doubtful

Thanks for the information. I planned on going pretty early, but I guess I'll be going earlier than planned.
