Votto was very deserving of it and he truly made a huge contribution to the success of the Reds during the 2010 season. I hope he is here for many more seasons.

Ryle has potential to put up yards this time around, the question is whether or not those yards turn into points.

Lawrence is well above average

This loss didn't shock me. Even with the Huskies not being in the top 25, everyone should know by now that Calhoun is one of the best coaches out there and that his teams are going to be tough. This is a very early part of the season and things should be better for UK and I don't see any trouble for them in SEC play.
-
I'd be surprised to see Lewis leave, but if he does, I don't see a big name coming in. Mike Brown is not going to give the kind of pay and control to a coach such as Gruden, Cowler, etc. If a coach does come in, it will likely be someone like Phillips or Fox. The biggest thing that the Bengals needs is an offensive coordinator, which I think almost everyone knows.

I think this will be close and UK finally gets a victory against the Volunteers.

I'll pick Male.

No respect
lol, that's great. Rodney Dangerfield is one of my favorite comedians of all time.

Very impressed w/ UL tonight. Effort was excellent & defense was suffocating at times.
And Justice far outplayed Siva.
I didn't get to see the game, but I wouldn't doubt your statement. Siva has not impressed me at all.

And people were trying to argue that Nebraska would beat Boise?
I agree. Even though this was definitely an upset, I never thought Nebraska or anyone else out of the Big 12 could be Boise.

Travel will not be a problem. The team is going up on Thursday and will more than rested for the game. The travel to Holy Cross wasn't a problem either and was not the reason that HC scored two quick TDs. Their scores came from good blocking and Mayfield missing tackles. Travel is so over rated.
The best team will win and I hope both teams come out of the game with no injuries.
If they are coming up Thursday night, than I don't see travel being an issue at all.

Goin to be high scoring affair, hard to keep Catholic out of the end zone . Could come down to the last possession...
That is definitely possible.

Everyone knows that Trinity is a heavy favorite this game. With that in mind, if any onf the three remaining were to beat Trinity, I believe that the team with the best chance is Ryle. Two things that could give Ryle more of an advantage than 2006 is that this Ryle team is more talented and has more of a diverse offense than the last meeting as well. Ryle could also hold somewhat of an advantage due to the game being in Union. This is one of Trinity's younger teams, but I don't believe that their youth will be a problem.
For Trinity to gurad against a letdown, I would say they just need to do what they usually do, play great for four quarters and keep the opposing offense off the field. With saying that, I don't look for as much of a blowout as many are anticipating. This is not the same Ryle team they faced four years ago.

This should be a good game, when it comes to reaching the semifinals, any team is good. Good luck to both teams and may the best one win.

Either game should be very fun to watch. I'm aware that Beechwood and Mayfield are smaller schools, but they play great football too. I'm sure you won't be disappointed in which ever one you decide.
-
The list sounds right from an offensive perspective. Maybe the Enquirer should do a top ten list for defense too.

75center and UKFfan#1's directions are likely the best ways to go coming up 71.

Its Thanksgiving everybody should be thankful that we all we have to worry about is cuss words on shirts! In California they worry about shooting at their football games!
good point

I like the way you think The more I've pondered and ciphered on this game, the more chance I think LCA has...course I've never been accused of being sane!!!
same thing goes for me with sanity as well, lol.

Undecided, probably Beechwood or Ryle. I've also considered going to the Danville/OC game, haven't been to "titletown" in a while. I always enjoyed going to Danville when I visited my relatives that used to live there. All three games should be a good time.

Where do you park? Looking at Google Earth it looks like parking is a nightmare
I don't know which hotel you are staying at, but if you are staying at Drawbridge or others near it, they may offer shuttles being as close as it is. I know Drawbridge had shuttles before.

If Boise wins next week with playing a ranked team, they will leap over TCU. I also don't see Auburn beating Alabama on the road, and also see a strong possibility in Oregon losing before the season ends, which could very well happen this week against Arizona.
During the beginning of the season, many said that Virginia Tech would kill Boise due to losing the week after Boise beat them to James Madison. VT has beaten everyone in the ACC and if they go on to win the conference title, that is huge for Boise. The ACC is weak, but do not forget the ACC is an automatic qualifier for a major BCS game. Could be just what the doctor ordered for Boise.
