I've got a weird feeling that this game isn't gonna happen.

If what I'm hearing is correct from most of the comments that the scrimmage doesn't mean a thing, would opinions sway if Trinity spitshined the Birds again this year? Would it affect your placement of Highlands in the Top 3? I'm thinking that it most certainly would......so even though the scrimmage result doesn't matter to Dale and the rest of the coaching staff, the court of public opinion says otherwise.

#2? They barely escaped Lex Cath last year and the Birds mopped up the Knights. It was clear in '12, although it doesn't amount to a hill of beans, that Highlands finished #1. But we're talking 13' here, right?

If we had a 4 team playoff, we'd end all speculation. The downside, however, is it would put Guru out of business cuz we'd lose half of the threads on here bickering back and forth about who's the best.

The only thing BG has on Lex Cath is 5A. Somehow if you're in a higher class, you're deemed better by the establishment. If I recall, they barely scraped by Lex Cath last year when they were supposed to be super. Of all the teams posted, BG is the most overrated, IMO.

What are the specs on the Houliston kid? He looks small. But then again, many would look small next to Seth.

Highlands won, but as I recall, it was quite a game. Preseason top 5; Highlands, X, Trinity, Lex Cath, Bowling Green.

The interviewer asked what CCH's goals are this year? Are you kidding me? lol. What's even funnier is that Wirth didn't immediately say, "Beat Highlands."

Are you kidding me? The entire state has wanted this game for years, it's played itself out countless times on here, year after year, and it's the same ole' "couldn't make it work". I think that's ridiculous. It's good for the State and both storied programs. The best should make every opportunity to play the best. Seems like from the interview that nobody around here wants to play Highlands anymore anyway, so why not Trinity I say....

I am a Birds fan. Unbelievable program and coaching staff. I donate a considerable amount to the program annually. You are way off the mark, Sweep.

I can't understand why Dale, having probably his two best teams in the past 5 yrs, couldn't put together a week to play a worthy Commonwealth opponent in Trinity. If I had the best team ever, I'd be fighting hard to play the best in my home state. Trinity obviously rivals the Bluebirds in State Championships. Oh well, I see it as a missed opportunity.

They always lose this one on purpose.

Birds are talking high hopes as far as national rankings are concerned but how to they stack up to the Commonwealth of KY in 2013? They typically are always ranked below higher class teams for some reason.

Questionable coaching decisions, Bingo. They've had their chances for sure.

Temperature and females probably had alot to do with it.
