Coach Wirth is well spoken.

Really nice interview Walter!

The interviewer asked what CCH's goals are this year? Are you kidding me? lol. What's even funnier is that Wirth didn't immediately say, "Beat Highlands."

Just doing my job. All apart of the list of questions I ask every coach. If you want to come up with a list of ?'s for the next interview, you're more than welcome to. I'll even let you use my camera. Type of guy I am.

........Love that Coach Wirth will give you some real talk and not a bunch of nonsensical coaches' speak. Example, "Wagner....will be an adequate thrower...."

Refreshing.

That said, I'm not sure this will be a great CovCath team.

You did an awesome job, Walter. But that Witte boy may take you up on that offer.

He did. He said win district and make it to state.

Thought the exact same thing.

Agree.

I had an email conversation with Coach Wirth a few months ago and he was extremely transparent. Refreshing is what I thought then and again now.

Coach Wirth is not only a outstanding football coach but a great guy as well.

Through all my sickness he has kept in touch with my wife asking how I am doing, and sending me E-mails telling me to hang in there and get better and when I got to go to the 7vs.7 on Tuesday, he met me and greeted me like a long lost brother, as did the rest of the coaching staff and the kids.

I deeply appreciate what he brings to CovCath as an Educator, Coach and Mentor, for he is one Coach who makes men from the young boy's that start playing football at CovCath.

Thank you Coach Wirth.
