LOL,I watch football all over the state and as an ex coach and parent of grown children I find it very amusing on the negative comments on some of these kids.Not only in this thread but others I have commented on,I think 99% come from parents of other players on the team or team mates.In the spirit of sportsmanship lets let these kids enjoy the noteriaty they recieve here and go by the old saying "you dont build yourself up by tearing other people down" I have herd nothing but positive comments on this Hemple kid on and off the field.Character and personality goes a long way with the recruitment of these kids lets not forget that. Ok.,for those of you splitting hairs,the numbers may not be exact.I personally feel the quality of H.S. basketball and the quality of skilled H.s. basketball players is not close to the level in the state of Ky. that it was in the mid 70's and 80's. Please if you have only been a fan of the sport for a few yrs and never saw state wide ball at that time,dont post a comment.We are now clear.

My point exactly.There arnt many,The level of skilled basketball players in the state of Ky has dropped drastically in the last 15 to 20 yrs.There are teams playing the state tourny that couldnt have gotten out of the district 20 yrs ago. Its not even close to the calibur it has been in the past.

Hope they have a good year..It always makes football up here in N. KY more exciting when Cov. Cath. Is strong. I just wish they could get lights

Ky is really putting out the basketball players arnt we,not one division 1 player from the state so far according to the list above.It really looks like the AAU and year round 1 sport mentality is working against creating good quality basketball.There were always 8 or 10 d-1 players from Lex and Lou alone.Maybe the kids are getting to much coaching and not developing on their own in the summers,not working on there skills by themselves.Here in louisville there were good players every year..not anymore.

I think its great..I think its important that we are politically correct above everything else.It should have nothing to do with the kids having a winning season or even learning anything,who cares?The boys dont need a strong male example to possibly teach them about being man.The most important thing is that we are all inclusive,I think that we should make it manditory that the girls have to play,and while were at it let make a penalty for spitting.I think I will go out right know and by my son some yellow pants and a pink shirt I want him to feel that he fits in and that he can look at all woman as men and all men as woman...Shew what next?

I herd from a coach that had kids in the Underclassman Combine this past weekend,that the freshman QB from Lex Cath was The class of the combine on all levels and competed with the incomming seniors aswell as the juniors and took MVP.Just curious if anybody has his name or any info on him.This guy told me he was really polished and looked like a college QB now,with a strong arm and great accuracy.If anybody knows his name,any info ,or if he is a transfer let me know.
