What will my boys in Williamsburg have coming back this year?

Could this start a coaching domino effect in the state? Big name goes to male, big name replaces first big name at previous school, etc?

Who is Bert Browne? Madison Central seems like it would be a great job because of population and location. Why can't they win there consistantly? They've had good teams in the past.

A lot of people start hurling insults when they get beat...which is ironic because thats what this whole thread ended up being about.

Wow, those are good stats. Didn't they loose a couple games real close too? Undefeated in JV? Do they play good JV teams?

First of all, I'm pretty sure it wasn't "His Contract"...Chris Larkey was a first year coach, so I'd bet those contracts were already in place. Second of all...ALL CONTRACTS HAVE BUYOUTS. When one team does something that terminates the relationship between two schools, you can get out of playing said school. Its not like teams just quit. They pay a substantial sum and also have to find another game...probably not a decision made lightly. I just read that article from the commonwealth and the one from the season... Coach Hines apparently ran his mouth and insulted the ADMINISTRATION of another school...not the staff, but the administration...well that pretty much is a reason to use the clause that lets you BUYOUT your contract. Badmouthing the other administration (as Jonny Hines did) in PUBLIC in a NEWSPAPER because he couldn't control his emotions after he got BEAT is pretty much a good reason to tell a team to hit the road jack IMHO. In fact, after reading what Coach Hines said on public record in the Commonwealth Journal about North's administration, It may not have even been Coach Larkey's decision. The ADMINISTRATION that was INSULTED may of asked him to drop PC. Who Knows?!?! Dozens of teams buy out of contract during a two year cycle for various reasons. Maybe this coach will learn from this to keep his mouth shut next time. By the way...whats up with them going after knox central in that article too...and did anyone notice that the Paper didn't interview or get comments from the other coaches involved? What kind of reporting is that? We didn't even hear both sides of the story.

How many times a week does Highlands lift? Anybody know their program? Their kids are huge.

Henry has been good for a couple years. ITs a good location too. Should be some interest in that position.

Simon Kenton has made an amazing turn around from a terrible team to maybe the best public 6A program going. What a joke comment!!

What has caused Danville's fall from grace?? I mean they are a traditional powerhouse...now kids are leaving for greener pastures?
