  1. Is this game being shown or broadcast anywhere on the internet?
  2. I really figured Mayfield was a yr away at the beginning of the year...4 of there starting 5 offensive linemen are jrs.. Guhy, the QB will be a 3 yr starter nx year with several starts as a freshman.. They will lose Xavier Shelter(WR) and Tyreese Murrell(RB), 2 of there biggest playmakers this year and they'll be hard to replace, but, Higginson is an awefully good looking soph WR and Noonan, Jackson and Richardson are all very talented RBs...On the defensive side, they'll return 2 of 3 LBs, 2 of 3 in the secondary and 3 of 5 of there Dline, so, that's a pretty good nucleous to build around., plus several underclassmen are getting alot of experience and playing time this year that don't start...If the Cards are fortunate enough to win it all this year, I would think a repeat would be a very good possibility, at the very least one of the favorites to win it all next year...The upcoming freshman class is outstanding, the 8th grade class, not so much, but, the 7th grade class looks to be strong as well, so, the immediate future is bright...I've said it before and will reiterate it again here, Mayfield always has speed and playmakers but (1) Mayfield is good when they have a good line play, some yrs they do, some they don't and this yr and nx yr looks great in that regard and (2) when they have good chemistry, sr. leadership and attitudes...Too many yrs in the past few, they've had a few bad apples that kept things stirred up and were more a "all about me" players...Definately not the case this year...Who knows what the next few will hold in that regard...I think Coach Morris has improved his coaching staff ten fold with solid disciplinarians this year...Let's just hope he can keep this staff in tact for a long while...
  3. We all have an opinion and that's mine...I'm just not as high on Bell as some others are, nothing personal..Lone oaks been as impressive as anyone in 4a with exception of Boyle...
  4. At least Tilghmans played competitively with Hopkinsville, Mayfield & Graves Co, 3 pretty good teams and should have beaten Graves as they had the lead late in the 4th before finally losing and from what I understand outplayed Hopkinsville everywhere except the scoreboard. Ft Campbells the only big loss they have and ask the Warren Central folks if they're any good and isn't Centrals record pretty poor too? Noone complaining about them. Playing good teams tend to skew a teams perception. Not saying PTs played Central's schedule, but, they have played some good teams that would all be alot higher than 8th in a 3a poll...
  5. Kinda of what I was thinking, westsider...Someone's gotta be 8th, right...

  11. Are they a 4a contender or pretender? Just curious. Noticed they were undefeated, but, not heard much about them this year. Don't know much about the teams they've played except for Sheldon Clark, who's a pretty solid team.. Anyone?
  12. My understanding is that that plan was squashed for some reason and now Lone oak is going to build there own school...

Below, is a list of the WKy schools to select from: Small Schools - Ballard Memorial, Crittenden Co, Fulton City, Fulton Co, Mayfield, Caldwell Co, Heath, Murray, Reidland, Trigg Co, Ft Campbell, Hancock Co, Owensboro Catholic, Todd Central, Glasgow, Green Co, Metcalfe Co, Monroe Co, McLean Co, Paducah Tilghman, Union Co, Webster Co, Adair Co, Butler Co, Edmonson Co, Hart Co, Russellville. 15. For years and years Pad Tilghman was the biggest and best school Mccracken Co had to offer, but, as with alot of areas, the inner city schools enrollment has been on the decline while the suburban area has grown and enrollment increased...Lone Oak's now the biggest school in McCracken and they're in the process of building a new state of the art school which will likely spike the enrollment even more. The open enrollment they initiated a few yrs back has also added to Lone Oaks success. That and finally producing a winning program after yrs of mediocraty has all attributed to the Purples success... I look for them to continue to be a solid program for yrs to come...They seem to be getting alot of the areas good athletes that in yrs past may have attended PT...Regardless, they got it going on right now and good luck to them the rest of the year...
  16. Great win by Christian...Didn't really expect it, but, not totally surprised...
  17. Ft Campbell, imo, would be the favorite to win 3a, just like they are 2a. They would be right up there with Boyle and Bell in 4a, as well, possibly even a slight favorite over Bell and about on even turk with Boyle. They would likely be a Top 3-5 team in 5a. Highlands would be the only 5a team that would be much of a favorite over them and they could play with Highlands as well if not better than most the others, simply because of there athleticism. BGreen and JHardin would be a great game against Ft Campbell. I think the Falcons would beat the next best 5a teams. In 6a, they would be behind the big 2 and prob 3 to 4 other teams, but, they'd be right in the thick of things after the Top 2. If behind, just slightly behind..
  18. 7-KCD 5-Monroe Co 3-Russellville 2-Heath 1-Trigg Co TB-KCD
  19. Would last years Warren Central have competed in 2a as well as Caldwells team from 2 yrs ago...I say yes...That team wasn't 4-0 when they played Lone Oak, matter of fact, they lost there 1st 2 games, then lost to a Heath team in the playoffs who had a losing record, not to mention got hammered by Mayfield, who was average, at best, that year(they lost to Fulton City, remember). I'm just not buying into Caldwell being a quality win that year for the Oakers and Fulton City either. They were a decent 1a school, nothing more, nothing less. Okay, I was using those type quality teams as examples, if you want actual non dustrict teams that Lone Oak played, here ya go, Union Co(4-8), Obion Central, Tn(0-10), Todd Central(1-9), Reidland(1-9), Heath(5-7) and then Caldwell and Fulton City, which I've already mentioned...Thats 1 1a school, 4 2a schools and 1 3a school, not sure what class Obion would be considered, but, at 0-10, does it really matter...Some of teams on Graysons schedule, I have no idea about, but, I'd be very hard pressed to think it would be any worse than the one Lone Oak had 2 yrs ago...Would almost be impossible...I'd also be hard-pressed to think Caldwell would be any better than WCentral, despite a poor year and record. I bet they'd still beat Heath and defeat every team that Caldwell did that year...Calloway was a decent team, but, that was it and that was a district game late in the year and Grayson will be playing some decent to good teams coming up, as well...
