What changes could you possibly be talking about? What leads you to believe that there is anything positive going on there that would warrant a win this week? Wishfull thinkg DRKARK, I hope they win too, any way possible!

Then that coach is wrong! Telling any kid that wants to be a part of your program and knows his role in that program that he can't play is wrong. Develope a younger player, lets keep this in perspective, you are talking about High School, not college, the average or even good high school player doesn't go on to play college basketball. Having a kid that wants to come to practice everyday when he knows he's not going to play is the kind of kid you should want to have on your team, and a coach that would cut that kid for the sake of "developement" is missing the bigger picture. I don't want to come across as a guy who thinks wins do not matter because I am all about winning and creating a winning attitude in your program. I just think that there are very few kids that would stay on a team under the circumstances that I outlined, practice everyday and not play, that if you do find one, he is a kid that is probally worth keeping around.

I think we are talking about teenage kids here, you are only in high school once and if a kid decides he wants to play and be a part of the team whats the problem. Let him know his time will be limited and if he agrees then everything is OK. Don't get carried away telling kids not to play, don't loose sight of what high school sports is about.

Lloyd play spoiler this Friday, Lloyd 28 Scott 14. Lloyd needs to go into the next part of the schedule with a win, some confidence and momentum. The score of last weeks Montgomery county game doesn't reflect the game itself. The Juggs played with team and competed. A win against Scott will be good.

Lloyd returns every player from last years team, along with some fresh faces and expireince I think they will surprise a few teams this year.

Let's just get thru the game without a season ending injury, 4 games 3 starters out for the year! We need to forget about last week, in the grand sceme of things its just an ugly loss, we have to prepare for district play. We have to get good line play and start moving the ball, making other teams play defense, bottom line. GO JUGGS!!!!

Lloyd does have a stricker policy as far as eligibility, one F and you can not play but please be careful in saying that kids at Lloyd dont play because of drug tests. I happen to like their policies when it comes to these two matters! Kids are not leaving or not playing because of drug tests.

Yes Tichenor has a middle school team that took most of the Lions players this year, maybe 3 or 4 of them will actually go to Lloyd, the rest live outside of Erlanger.

Lloyd Memorial will be hosting Montgomery Co. this Friday, just curious what to expect from them.

I agree with you, I do not want to lay all the blame at the coaches feet but he is the Head Coach but at the end of the day if he is going to take credit for the winning seasons in the past he also has to take the credit for the losing, you cant have it both ways. I'll say it again, he is a good guy and he doesn't have all the best athletes in the school playing and that is squarely on those kids for not playing, NOT COACH LUCAS, there are 25 kids out there everyday so he must doing something right for them.

Yes I would agree that he is good at x's and o's to a point, he has done a terrible job of surrounding himself with quality coaches! I will also give him the benefit of the doubt because of injuries the past few years, 2 years ago he lost 2 wide recievers and his QB to season ending injuries, that QB by the way plays for EKU and threw a TD pass against Louisville 2 weeks ago, almost pulling off an upset, Brenden Gregory.

I think you just helped prove my point, its going on 6 years of losing with no shake up in the coaching or the staff, excluding the Yeagle fiasco! Tell me what school in NKY would put up with that mediocrity besides Scott and people have been on here talking about whether or not Scott should keep football. Are we the next school that should drop football?

its coaching and talent. The lack of serious football minded coaches that know what they are doing, how to coach and prepare a team are what is hurting the program. When I say talent, I mean that you do not have your best athletes playing football anymore, I believe the best football players at lloyd are currently on the team but there are proballyy 10 other kids in that school that could be on that field every Friday night but are not playing. When you continually get beat by 40 and 50 points you run kids away from the program PERIOD. The administration is also to blame. Lloyd is the only school that allows this type of losing and losing mentality to exist, please tell me another school that would stand by year after year and let this go on. Roy Lucas will at Lloyd until he decides he doesn't want to coach, that could mean this year, 5 years from now or 10 years from now. In a meeting 2 years ago the Principal asked a group of parents if the games were still on friday night, ENOUGH SAID. This is your Lloyd Juggernauts, get used to it!

Dixie "no balled" Lloyd back in 91' in the district finals, let me tell you it served its purpose by igniting Dixie and it had lloyd wondering what the heck was going on! I loved it and think that it has a place in very smalll doses, for instance big games or for big rivals. Any more than that and you take away its sting.

This score will be what Coach Warner wants the score to be, Im sure Ryle is getting tired of hearing about Dixie, Conner, SK and Holmes! Its Highlands, Ryle right behind them, then everyone else way back behind them! 3 TD's at least. 35 -14 Ryle
