Yes they did, along with Conner. Both teams will for sure dominate this new district. It will deffinantly be these two teams battleing for the district title.

Conner 2005 and 2006 ( Ithink..may be off a year either way).....team goes undefeated in the entire regular season and loses in the first round of the playoffs both times. In this case, it was coaching...the team was not prepared for the playoffs.

I thought the SK vs Conner game was at Conner at 4:30. Can anyone confirm locaiton and time for sure? I got the info from a neighbor who is on the ballteam.

Conner will struggle this year, as it will be a MAJOR rebuilding year - top 25 in NKY...maybe............................. I know you are all for the home team, but come on; they dont even have a decent QB or RB next year. They have some size on the line is about all they have. And most teams rebuilding??? Ryle not rebuilding, SK not rebuilding, Dixie not rebuilding, and Campbell County will shock a lot of teams this year. This will be a similar year to Trosper's first year at Conner; but watch out in 2 years, depending upon QB development.

IBall - any names of the players to go with the descriptions? I heard Albrecht got his 2nd start of the year for Conner - if he was still throwing in the 5th, he should have been a tired pitcher. Who got the RBI's in the 7th? Who scored on the suicide squeeze? Has Conner gotten its starting outfield back yet? Sorry, I was unable to attend last night as it was a night game - had to work.

Queen of Pink - no one ever said Mark Albrecht, or anyone specific for that matter, contributed to the defeat. Albrecht name was to answer a prior question - he actually pitched well. In regards to freshman playing, it was only meant to describe why there are questions as to the decisions the coach made. The freshman may be the next Hank Aaron - it was immaterial to the statement which questioned why the coach chose not to put the BEST on the field.

I hope that they wanted to be on the field - but why weren't they?

Reliever was Mark Albrecht. Arlo started a freshman in CF this game....guess it just did not matter after the loss to CCH.

This was a fun game to watch - turnovers were the key in this game. It included two blocked field goals by Conner, three onside kick tries by Conner (and they recovered two of them), and a recurring battle of Manual going up by two plus TD's and "here comes West"...who led them down to quick scores several times. No excuses on Conner side - they got beat by a very physical team. Maunual fans - thank you - you were great sportsman in unfamiliar field (played at Moore HS).....Conner...great season! Good luck to all the graduating seniors of CHS Cougars.

You need to look at the bracket...there is no doubt in anyone's mind who the favorite is in the bracket SK has fallen into. If I am reading your post incorrect, my apology now...but if you are asking abotu the fav against SK in round three, it is a no-brainer (although an upset would be great)!!!!

Look at the field conditions in the video above. Will Manual be able to get this field in any respectable condition to host a playoff game? I realize it is the same fo rboth teams when playing the game, but this does not lend to the best game possible. Any input from the Manual faithful?

I agree. I was there last night...they can try and get the pools of water sucked up, use drying agents to get the field in better shape, assuming we have a rain free week. But that field is in bad bad shape right now.

Will Manual be able to get the mud pit ready for next week playoff hosting? No one wants bad field conditions to be an impact to a playoff game. They have a week of dry weather coming according to 10 day outlook. Can they get it in better shape than it was last night?
