New update on Chisholm: he’s been offered by Dayton. He’s also be offered PWOs at WKU and UC.

I have more deer activity at my feeder in daylight hours than I ever have since I've been hunting Boone Co. I'm seeing a ton of does and at least 3 shooter bucks consistently. I think Saturday is going to be a great morning in the woods.

I'm from Ohio, so I grew up hunting with a shotgun. It wasn't until I went to Morehead that I was able to find someone to let me hunt KY. I used a Marlin 30-30 for years that my grandpa gave me when he passed. I love that gun. Since I have gotten my wife into hunting, I bought a Remington 700 in a .270. My wife uses the 30-30 now. It's a great gun for a woman or a smaller person. I've still never had a deer run over 50 yards after it's been hit with that 30-30.

After an underwhelming performance against Cooper, expect Ryle to take out some frustrations on Conner.

No problem with any of the calls other than the two pass interference calls on 3rd and long situations. Those were both terrible calls and led to CC scores.

Ryle is just too deep for Cooper to keep up with for the entire game. Cooper plays a lot of kids both ways. 3 out of 4 defensive lineman also play o-line. I think Cooper will hang with Ryle for a while, but look for the Raiders to pull away midway through the 3rd quarter. Ryle wins 35-14.

Not sure what first half you were watching. Should have been 28-3 at half.

This game was way more one sided than the scoreboard showed. Ryle missed a lot of opportunities to score in the first half and also gave up too many big plays defensively.
