Rock linemen looked big on TV last night.

Just got a email saying Coach Settles is having a meeting tonight with the parents and boosters to give them update on this year team. Also they go in full pads tonight. I know the kids are looking forward to getting to hit someone.

He is a great guy, not sure how he will do as OC. Only time will tell. But at least he is a old Lincoln Co boy and is looking to stay. :banana: He will run the ball a lot and pass when he has to.

Looks good. Like I said he is fast, he is faster than most of the backs.

Not sure what I did? :idunno: I am not as fast on my feet as I use to be so I try to make up for it with my fingers.

Is this a week long camp? Also did the booster have to help pay for it?

Most of the time. He has got very fast...

A lot has been said about this, but when you look 45 kids in the face and tell them that you are their for them and your committed to them and how you don't need the money, you talk about being brothers and about being committed to each other as a staff and as a team. I kind of have a problem with how he when about it. He could of took the job in the school, took the job as a track coach and stayed on the rest season as OC at Lincoln. He could have showed the kids what it is to make a commitment and to stay with it. He told me that he would be their at least one more year. All I can say is talk is cheep action or reaction is the man. My best wishes to Yeast.

Just spoke to one of the Lincoln Football Boosters, He tells me that he spoke to Yeast today and that he is the new OC for Marion Co, and that he didn't plan this that the job at Marion is what he was look for.

Yeast is leaving Lincoln County in a hard spot at this time of the year. :irked: I hope Lincoln can find someone.:idunno: :confused:

Wilks is the new Middle School HC. D. Jones will help this year, But then its all Wilks. Travis Leffew is helping Lincoln this year and Chuck Miller is the new weight lifting coach. Both are good guys and are very serious about what they do. This should help Lincoln this year.

Congrats to Davenport, Lincoln Co. goes to camp with Bell again this year, I'm looking forward to seeing this kid. But I don't think the Boyle Frenchmen will be look forward to it.

Clevenger is the best man for the job. I was also impressed with him when he was at Lincoln County. Would love to get him back as a defensive coach.
