:laugh: In all seriousness the girls program is kind of in the boat the boys were 10 -15 years ago. Fighting to just get kids in the "feeder schools" (joke with the diocese schools) staying at Brossart and not going "up on the hill."

Extra curricular jobs do not have to be posted for 30 days according to statute......However some districts have this as part of their policy........

Yes StickerMann that was during the transition years. Went from Div III to Div II in the conference and went to the 10th Region. Did have Nathan Seiter a couple years and frosh year of Justin Seiter. Willie's first year saw 6 of the top 8 players return including Nathan, Justin, and 2 other starters. The 15-15 year was the first ever district title and was a very young team. Enough about that. How is the incoming frosh class looking for the girls?

Okay I will defend this decision with this statement. 1992 Tom Cramer (sp) leaves Brossart. Brossart admininstration takes forever to higher a replacement. Went after some big names (Mike Ford, Mike Listerman, and others). End up with a frosh coach from Carroll County as the head boys coach who ends up winning a ton of games winning the first ever distict title, getting the first ever win in school history over Campbell County, and becoming at the time the all time winningest coach. So I think giving him a chance should be priority one. This program can NOT afford another set back.

True Tom Cramer had a great resume but he was retired from public schools and drawing his pension. The fact is if you look at the hiring pattern since him on the boys side all three were assistant coaches: Carroll Co, Highlands, Brossart........... Now as far as a other candidates are concerned 242 you have been pretty cryptic with a lot of responses and posts. Not sure if you really knew something or not but I tend to agree that this may have have a third or fourth guy down the totem pole so to speak. Wish you would be more open about who was being considered and who was considering instead of all the riddles and capital letters.

Well Brossart did this in the past in the boys program (assistant coach from Carroll Co) and it went ok. Hopefully this does as well.

242 That would leave Seiter and Schlarman. Schlarman is not taking a girls job and yes Seiter is close to the AD but with the amount of kids he has playing I doubt he has interest in coaching a girls team right now................

Neither of those guys were very good coaches so that would not make sense. The boys program did not start seeing success until Tom Creamer.........then continued forward under Seiter, Schlarman, and now Code. Not knowing the situation at all Creamer has coached girls before....................

Tom seems like a good assistant coach. Do not know Steve Tatum. Seems like Coach Sorrell is going to get the younger teams involved and that is what both programs at Bellevue need.

Yes the AD is the same.....I have respect for him although disagree with his choice of not keeping Coach Kues. And I do not agree with the parents complaints about Coach Kues either.............but they are as I stated some of the same complaints. I will say that Coach Kues really hurt himself when he brought on board his new assistant coach this year.

Expecting nothing less from Coach Sorrell. He will become a great head coach!

Now if you look back at my previous posts on this subject two months ago I am a huge Ray Kues fan but this was a rumor that was surfacing in April in another thread.........
