Saw in the paper this morning that Nina Kearns has resigned as the coach of the girls soccer program at Highlands. Who might be interested in taking over this successful program?

Whoever takes over at Highlands will have a couple of rebuilding years in front of them. The program will really miss this year's senior class.

Her husband

Wow. Pretty poor timing, considering tryouts are only around a month away! How wide a net can be cast inside of 30 days? Could make for an interesting tryout if they bring in someone unfamiliar with the program.

Jennifer Woolf????

Jennifer Woolf????

Jen Woolf is a volleyball coach, not soccer

Nina's husband, Tommy, got the job. Nina will stay on as a volunteer assistant coach.

Is there now an opening for JV coach, or is Stephanie (Sandfoss) Graves taking that position?

Is this for certain? I thought that they had to post the job for 30 days and then interview candidates.

Are you looking for a job?

Yes. Straight from the horse's text.

Extra curricular jobs do not have to be posted for 30 days according to statute......However some districts have this as part of their policy........

At this late stage, this was the obvious choice. Tommy knows the kids and with Nina helping out, it should be a very smooth transition!

Jennifer Woolf????

That would be interesting.:idunno:

Congrats to Tom. This makes for a smooth transition.
