  1. I would be a lot more comfotable if they would have added a veteran reliever and somehow got a leadoff hitter to play LF. Also a utility INF player especially with the questions about Rolen staying healthy. All in all, I think this team is just a move or two away from being elite for at least three consecutive years. Not a lot of teams can say that so I am perfectly content and can't wait to go to so games this spring/summer.
  2. Read where Darius possibly could be done for the year.
  3. I thought we were supposed to do the draft on what we would do if we were in that team's shoes. But anyway my thinking was Fairley for the Bills but he was picked so I went to possibly the best player left on the board. It was between Peterson and him. And I hope Green is off the board before the Bengals pick too haha. If I were the Bills though, I would get rid of Evans. Johnson and Green would be a very good duo.
  4. With the number 3 pick the Buffalo Bills select... A.J. Green, WR, Georgia.
  5. I know that I could not possible check this that much. I would think a couple picks a day should be sufficient. I usually only check BGP once a day unless I am at work haha but I can try. Let's just get started and see what happens!
  6. Usually coaches focus on grabbing their own players not the other teams?
  7. I also heard Hinson grabbed one of the St. Pat players in the freshman game and pulled him by his arm pretty physically. The losses might be going to his head.
  8. I see the love for BB haha. They have earned that hatred haha.
  9. ^Yea would be a reach for Amukamura but if JJ chooses to leave and Peterson is gone then I would be ok with that pick honestly.
  10. I am sorry for the confusion, I didn't mean for people to think that I thought Benson is a ego guy. I just mean they could spend the money at other positions, just need a compliment power guy with Scott that is familar to a complimentary role.
  11. I do not like Jones. Hopefully there is not a NBA lockout hahaha.
  12. They would be loaded at CB wouldn't they haha Hall, JJ, Jones, and Peterson. But i agree in signing a RB. I would love a guy like the law firm or somebody like that to pair with Scott. Get a good team player instead of an ego guy so they can have a little thunder and lightening in the back field. I wouldn't even mind drafting a player like Clay, just a beast of a RB to pair with the quickness of Scott. I thought Scott showed some glimpses last year.
  13. Do NOT want Green on this team. If anything we need a solid veteran on the WR core. There are so many moves I would make to turn this team around. They seem so simple but Brown just won't try. They need to cut so many players on this team if they aren't going to be FA. Cut loose Odom and Geathers to start off. That should save quite a bit of money. Let Owens and Ocho walk as well. Getting JJ to come back is somewhat crucial but I would not use the expensice franchise tag on him. Look for a long term type deal for less overall money or just draft one of those two stud CB in the draft. At least one of them will be there at the 4th pick.
  14. So what is with the zombie upgrades? And if anyone wants to add me on PS3 to play some COD or sports games just PM me.
  15. I do love the core of this team. Another draft this year as they had last year and they may have very well turned this team around by luck. The easier schedule will certainly help. I really don't see as many glaring holes on this team as I usually do. That's why I really don't know who to draft, but that is a good problem to have. They could just go best available, which should be a very good player at the four spot. The most glaring hole on this team is the coaches/owner which everyone already knows, and not even all the coaches are terrible. If Mike Brown was really smart he would know with a few tweaks that this team could be a contender for sure, BUT that would cost a few dollars. THAT is why everyone is fed up with this team.
  16. Its not the end of the world. I didn't mind Jones this game but I really disliked his play recently. Seemed so selfish to me, he either puts his head down and drives and hit about half those or jacks up a three which very rarely goes in. I bet he doesn't pass it more than 5 times a game haha. Oh well, maybe UK's luck will turn around when it matters. Hopefully they won't lose every close game they are in and hopefully they are learning from this. The best lineup might very well be: knight lamb liggins miller jones. That's who put that run together tonight. Harrelson would be a solid bench player that could give 20 minutes a night. And this would eliminate the need to play Vargas at all. Only played him to give Harrelson a breather which usually lasted out 2.1 seconds.
  17. Do people need to start taking two teams to get this done? And when do you plan on starting this?
  18. I read an article yesterday morning saying that they thought apple will surpass the $1000 per share mark. And yes theright strategy definitely was to invest more after the collapse in 2008.
  19. Yes the stock market has been great recently. Unfortunately I am just a mere college student. Hoping to land a decent job in the next few months though. There are so many opportunites that I see out there that would be amazing investments. When you said you were near retirement I thought you mean a year or so away haha. Taking into consideration the new information, I would definitely not tell you to take your money out of the stock market. Maybe get out of some riskier positions if you are in any. But you could be a fairly risk adverse person anyway. I graduate from NKU with a degree in finance in May, as you can tell I am eager to start working haha. I am very excited to start my Finance career. My job right now I do not get to do any of that. I get to see investments but I am not on the decision making side.
  20. If retirement is in the near future then there is no need to keep yourself in the stock market. If you have gained enough to retire then you should no longer expose yourself to all that unnecessary risk. Switch to safer securites like high grade bonds or government securities. I don't know your situation at all but just some basic advice. I know the miniscule returns on bonds these days keep people geared more for stocks but when the risk is not needed lower yields aren't that bad.
