  1. I hate to see Coach Perry's career end with a loss as she is related to my wife. However, I'm very proud that Elliott County has made it to the Regionals at Morehead State for the first time in school history. Congratulations girls!!! Hopefully the girls will be playing in the state tournament and so will the boys. :dancingpa :dancingpa Congratulations Shae Ferguson on an awesome achievement!!! :notworthy: :notworthy: Wonder who would win a one-on-one brother and sister style??? Shae versus Jonathan :idunno:
  2. I just talked with my friend today that has the LCP and he sent it in Wednesday of last week and got it back today also with a free hat and magazine extension as well as a set of Rogue grips.
  3. I have a friend who carries a LCP 380 and likes it but is seriously thinking of putting it in the safe and going and buying the Kel-Tec 32. His wife has one. If she uses the 32 she out shoots him if she uses the LCP he out shoots her.
  4. I had the Kel-Tec 380 and it kept jumping out of my hands so I traded it in on the Kel-Tec 32. Accuracy out of the box is awful with the 380 the 32 is alot better (I'm assuming due to less muzzle jump) but with the Crimson Trace Laser Sights it's dead on. It will actually out shoot my Baby Eagle (no laser) at 15 yards.
  5. I agree with you on this one, however, I would look at the Kel-Tec in 32 as opposed to 380 due to the size of the Kel-Tec 380 (short grip without a mag extension). If you have medium to large hands they (Kel-Tec 380) have a tendency to jump out of your hand due to the small grip size. I myself have medium size hands and do well to get 2 fingers on the grip of my .32. The .32 has a little less firepower than the 380 but doesn't jump near as bad. If you add the 10 round mag with the extension there is no trouble at all BUT it's a little harder to carry especially if your using the belt clip instead of a holster.
  6. Kel-Tec P32 with Crimson Trace Laser Sights and pocket clip. Dead on at 50 feet. I don't believe I would need 50 feet but if I can put 10 shots in a Skoal lid at 50 feet that seems good enough for me. If carrying in a holster I have a Magnum Research Baby Desert Eagle in .40.
  7. I was thinking he was in the 240 to 250 list in career but wasn't sure. Keep me posted on this please. I'd like to know how many he does have.
  8. 16thbballfan--Sorry to point it out but you said by 9 and your score shows 11. Anyway I'll take Morgan County by 6. In a low scoring affair. 46-40.
  9. WHy isn't Ferg on that list Dale? Has Elliott County not reported those stats yet? I'm sure he would be on the list, wouldn't he?
  10. This story was presented on Sportscenter tonight at 11:00 PM. If anyone gets a chance I'm sure it will be on again later tonight.
  11. I, for one, believe that if Elliott County continues to have good shooting nights and T. Knipp continues to play with passion they have a good chance at making it to the finals.
  12. The previous portion of my post that I quoted in thsi post was actually not meant for this post it was meant for a private message that was being sent and I typed it in the worng box. I apologize for my screw up and will be sure to proofread next time before posting. Sorry again for the confusion. :ohbrother: :isurrender:
  13. For a school that has less than 600 students in grades 7-12 (as compared to a Scott County with almost 3000 students or a Holmes with 1200+) this is a major accomplishment for them. I myself attended Elliott County and am proud to be from Sandy Hook even though I don't live there anymore. The total number of STUDENTS in Scott County and Holmes COMBINED is almost as much as the number of people in ALL OF ELLIOTT COUNTY. So go ahead and talk up your Scott County's and your Holmes' but Elliott County by and large is IMO the best team in the state because these boys know everyone in the school and aren't afraid to speak to people in the local community. Name one person on either Scott County's team or Holmes' team that can say they could freely speak with ANYONE in the school and still know their name at the end of the conversation. These boys do not have egos they have been supported by the COMMUNITY and they play for the community and they play with heart and passion each and every time their sneakers touch the floor. IMO Elliott County High School is the best school in the state. Period.
  14. I agree Dale and as I said it's just darned hard to keep them boys on the bench. They want to get out there and play it's harder for them to sit and watch than it is anything.
  15. I'd say the starters play more than 16 minutes as it is hard to keep these boys on the bench. They want to play and play hard. They don't want to sit the bench and watch. Anyway back on track I'll take Elliott. Elliott 110 Russell 60
  16. I've said it before in this thread and I'll say it again. If Timmy hits the wieght room and packs on some pounds he will be a force to be reckoned with. He plays taller than his height down low and has the jump shot of a 2 guard but to play at a large D1 school he's going to have to gain some weight.
  17. Appreciate the gesture RockPride. Glad to be here. I'm definitley a baseball fan and a stern supporter of Pete Rose as you can tell. bigbluefan02--I agree with you 110%. Pete Rose will get into the HOF as soon as Bud Selig is gone. Hopefully Selig is gone before Rose passes because I would walk to Cooperstown to see Pete Rose inducted.
  18. How do you know Canseco will not be in the Hall of Fame? Are you one of the voters? Don't think so. Not trying to start an argument just stating the facts. I don't like Canseco, I'm not taking up for Canseco but I do believe he should be in the HOF even if it is because of the time he let the ball bounce off his head and over the fence for a home run when he played for the Rangers. That was priceless and deserves to be in the Hall of Fame/Shame whichever they have room for him. LOL
  19. Gambling or not he still deserves to be in the HOF. As a player Rose was one of the toughest, hard nosed, gritty players the game has ever seen. Rose had raw talent and he is more than deserving of his RIGHTFUL spot in the HOF. WHo cares if he bet on games. People gamble on sports everyday if they didn't Las Vegas, Atlantic City and the likes would be out. I GUARANTEE Rose is not the only person that has bet on the game while being a coach, player or otherwise affiliated with a Major League team. He just got caught. He's paid his dues and he still deserves to be in the HOF. UKMustang Fan as to your comment of he "only admitted to betting on baseball to sell a book" well isn't that the same thing Jose Canseco, Jeremy Giambi and the rest of the "Roid Crowd" are doing right now. They are only admitting to taking steroids to sell books and I'm sure Canseco will end up in the Hall at some point whther it be due to his accomplishments as a player or his uncanny ability to pump himself up with steroids and become friends with another steroid user and join the team of the "Bash Brothers.(Canseco/McGwire)" Look at Joe Torre's book where he constantly whines and complains about how terrible his years with the Yankees were and how all his players were prima donna's. He wrote a book and will profit from yet as a manager he is still great and will get into the HOF.
  20. Very true. We were always taught to get low and get your butt under their hip and back them out. How often do you see that now? Very seldom.
  21. Free throws are definitely a lost art. I'm not that old but I remember being in high school and playing pickup games where the first two people to hit free throws were captains and picked teams. During those days usually the first 2 that shot were captains now a days though IMO it would be safe to say that if it was a 3 on 3 pickup game everyone would get a try at the line at least once. LOL
  22. T. Knipp is a great player and has great potential. Better than average outside and inside. If he hits the weight room during the offseason and packs on 20 to 30 lbs of muscle he would be a force to be reckoned with inside over the next 2 years.
