  1. Of course, I like Ryle in what should be a close game. Look forward to seeing all of our NCC friends tomorrow night.
  2. Now, that's a good one;)
  3. I've only seen about a quarter of an NCC game over the Holidays at Lexington Catholic. Other than what I've read and heard from my fellow BGPers have said on here don't know much about them, but I know how tough Coach Dawn's teams traditionally are and I'm sure this year is no exception. I believe Ryle will have to play an exceptional game to come away with a victory.
  4. I agree with you WVFrank, I should have kept what I heard to myself.
  5. Let me know your thoughts and predictions on Tuesday night's matchup between these 2 fine teams.
  6. Final score from today's semi-final matchup in the All "A" Classic from Richmond, Ky.
  7. Ryle is the #1 Seed for th 33rd District Tournament starting in 2 weeks at Cooper High School.
  8. Final score from this afternoon's game in Union, Ky.
  9. I want whatever you're drinking today! LOL
  10. The language at the end of Boone's bench from bench players towards Ryle's players was both extremely vulgar and should of been addressed, but it wasn't and the Ryle parents aren't on here griping about the words of our children.
  11. I agree with you on all counts. I don't think the booing is ok, but it is part of the game. I honestle don't think it bothers the players, at least what the girls have told me it doesn't. Now, from a parents standpoint, I understand their concern. These are our children and we love them dearly and don't want ANYONE to boo our kids.
  12. Gotta go, Cooper game at Ryle this afternoon. My prediction is for an ugly 1st half for Ryle. Hope not, but it's hard to regroup this soon after such an emotional game like last night. Be safe everyone, the ice and snow are back this morning.
  13. Agree, agree, agree, agree:)
  14. Ok , I'll ease up a little;) I still think that Ryle wins this matchup 8 out of 10 times with this year's Ryle and Boone's team. IMO Boone was a better ballclub last year.
  15. I wonder how many of our BGPers ever played High School or college athletics. I did in the 1970's and was booed mercilessly at some schools. I thrived on it! I used it as a tool to compete harder. I honestly don't believe anyone even dislikes Sydney. I took it a a sign of she must be pretty awesome if she is going to draw that much attention from the student body. I don't think we need to make it out to be something sinister.
  16. I don't believe it was an upset either. Boone has a nice team but I believe, and always have, that Ryle has the best team in the 9th Region this year and one of the top 3 team in the State right now.
  17. Quite a 2nd half performance. Hope you see a great college game today.
  18. I know I should not pick on Coach Fookes record, it's quite impressive, but it really get old listening her fan club when the games are all about the young girls playing and not the coaches. I'm also waiting to hear from the " Usual Suspects" on their take on the game. You know who I mean... Crunch-time, h20boy, bcrebeldad and kyrebel....
  19. She has 11 Region banners hanging in her gym to go along with 0 State Titles... just saying Sweeperboy.
  20. Sweeperboy, you really should just let this one go and quit trying to psycho-analyze the Ryle program or their girls. This win was just a stepping stone to much bigger goals. I know your Lady Birds beat us last week, but if they played 10 games, Ryle would win 9 of those contests.
  21. If there is a player in the State that is harder to stop than Greenwell, I have yet to see her play.
  22. Ever since the Christmas break Ashley Cheeseman has been on a mission. Not too many teams can keep up with her let alone make her go left. Once in a while she'll try to stop her drive and try to pull up and get a travelling call, but 9 time out of 10 she is going to the line or making the shot then going to the line.
  23. Fun game , great atmosphere. As I said earlier in the week, I wish these 2 teams could play every week. Congratulations to Sydney on scoring her 200th career point. quit an accomplishment. I thought Ryle did a great job of keeping her at bay in the 1st half. She came out strong in the 2nd half but she can't do it alone. #42 had a great game but not much help from the rest of the Boone squad. Jenna Crittendon had another all around game. she plays the game harder than anyone, boy or girl I have seen in quite a while. Looking forward to Round #2. 2000 points, sorry!
  24. Sound to me like a furious 4th quarter for Danville and just a tough loss for Walton-Verona. If your team has never lost a 4th quarter lead then God Bless you:)
  25. We wish them another Tournament title. good Luck!
