Depends on which team shows up for B/C . They were not the same team that played Shelby Valley in the opener, that showed up at Morgan Co. I will give B/C credit they did have 4 starters out with injuries that went both ways last friday . Hopefully they will be back this week .

Shelby valley was a all run the ball team. The May kid is a junior was a punishing type running back. BC defense had several good stops in the red zone . Evans , Harris , Deerfield had really good games for the offense. BC should continue to improve throughout the season.

GRC beat Boyd by around 14 , Mason beat beat Boyd by 8 . Boyd was without three players in Mayse, Gambill, And Austin Hunt.

He will be back , if he wants it bad enough to work and be a team player. I thought yesterday was good day of ball for all the teams. B Lowe (thick kid) and A Hunt will only get better together as the year goes forward. I thought they played good considering it being a very busy week for Boyd.

Boyd had a 6'5" starter gone today and this made them 8 games since tuesday night , with a three hour bus ride , I enjoyed the games today hope to make it back next year. Very good event for all teams .

Boyd Co is coming off a good rebuilding year under coach Anderson. Will have both inside players in Lowe (jr) and Mayse (sr) returning along with Hunt (jr) transfer from Russell should be a solid trio. Have several young guards along with burgess (soph) who can shoot the three ball well. The kids have been working hard for Coach Anderson a will give good effort .

I hope Mr Wing plays basketball next year. I would not be surprised if he does not graduate early an go to Marshall in the spring semester to play spring ball. Football that is his sport, wish him good luck in his bright future.

Seems like now a days , a lot of seniors are graduating early so they can enroll in the spring an make spring practice. I could see Wing going that route since I think he can have a good shot at QB at Marshall.

Boyd will continue to improve under Coach Anderson. Returning three starters and the first man off the bench , plus the player picked up will be a big boost for the still young lions , this year will be fun to watch .

How in the world could ashland media say anything about transfers, Doesn't Ashland have all of Rosehill players who bailed with the exception of Mike Terry who went to Fairview.

I was at the game and agree that shots were missed, but the last 30 seconds of the game with refereeing was horrible and the 1 point if corrected could have made a difference, these people (referees and score keepers )are paid to do a job and it was done poorly.

I believe it was never corrected.
