How about just winning a playoff game for the 1st time in 10 years. That would be a good start, but I see them finishing 9-8 or 8-9 and missing the playoffs. That seems a lot more likely.🤷‍♂️

I would much rather be 3-0 in preseason and now I have competent backups as say 1-2 and my backups look shaky at best. Plus get shutout by the lowly Jets.🤣

The Reds win another thriller last night defeating the Cubs in Chicago 10-8.

They only lost 2 and yet they still played well enough to win by 17 points. That makes it even more impressive. The defensive backups only allowed 210 total yards and only 70 rushing.

The Cards and Coach Dane Damron improve to 2-0 on the season.

The NFL 2026 season kicks off now in just 12 days with a rare Wednesday night start. It's a rematch of last years Super Bowl with the Patriots traveling to Seattle to take on the World Champion Seahawks. The game is on NBC. some highlights of the opening week is the first ever game in Australia between the Rams and 49ers. Other marquee matchups include: Bills vs. Texans, Packers cs. Vikings, Commanders vs. Eagles. The opening week concludes with the return of the Chiefs Patrick Mahomes from knee surgery hosting the Broncos. I for one am looking forward to another season of in my opinion the best professional sports there is.

The Steelers open the season at home against an NFC South team in the Atlanta Falcons. This is a game the Steelers should win especially at home as the Falcons are still up in the air about a starting quarterback. If the can contain the Falcons star running back Robinson the should start the season 1-0.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers come to Cincy to take on the Bengals to kickoff the 2026. This is a season of high hopes for the Bengals and they need to get off to a good start. The kickoff is scheduled for Sunday, September 13 at 1:00pm on Fox. Go Bengals! WHO DEY!!

Bengals defeat the Eagles 30-13 and go undefeated in the preseason for the first time in 20 years. They also defeated 3 of the top 5 or 6 teams in the NFC in the Lions, Bears and Eagles. Let's carry this now onto the regular season. It looks like have some good reserves. Go Bengals!! WHO DEY!!

Reds win 10-9. The first time they came back scoring 6+ runs in the 9th inning since back in 1958. Reds score 7 in the top of the 9th for the come from behind win!

My goodness the Reds go down after 8 innings 9-3 and in the top of the 9th and have scored 7 in the top of the 9th to now led 10-9 and with still just 1 out in the inning. This is by far the most the Reds have scored in a half inning this season.

Reds get a run in the top of the 7th but leave the bases loaded and now trail 6-3 after 7.

The Giants just hit the 3rd two run homer of the game and now led the Reds 6-2 after 6 innings.

Giants get 2 in the bottom of the 5th and now lead the Reds 4-6 after 5 innings.

Reds tied it in the top of the 3rd inning at 2 and it is still 2-2 after 4 innings.

Reds get their first lead in the series in the top of the 2nd and give it right back in the bottom of the 2nd on a double and a 2-run homer and trail 2-1 after 2 innings.

Reds and Giants are scoreless after 1 inning in today's afternoon game.

Reds lost again last night 3-1 on only 5 hits. They are now 9 games under .500.

It must not be too serious as I have not seen any reports of him have an MRI or any other test.
