The NFL 2026 season kicks off now in just 12 days with a rare Wednesday night start. It's a rematch of last years Super Bowl with the Patriots traveling to Seattle to take on the World Champion Seahawks. The game is on NBC.

some highlights of the opening week is the first ever game in Australia between the Rams and 49ers. Other marquee matchups include: Bills vs. Texans, Packers cs. Vikings, Commanders vs. Eagles. The opening week concludes with the return of the Chiefs Patrick Mahomes from knee surgery hosting the Broncos.

I for one am looking forward to another season of in my opinion the best professional sports there is.

Baker Mayfield just got 3-year $165 million dollar contract.

Also, Aaron Donald did not make the trip to the Rams to Australia.

Pats/Seahawks kickoff in an hour. Looks like Seattle is about a 3.5 favorite.

Price Rookie of the year.

Still scoreless after 1 quarter.

So far, so boring.

Well that didn't take long less than 1 quarter and a starting QB is already injured. Sam Donald just played 1 series then walked into the tunnel with a noticeable limp.

Touchdown Patriots on a 3-yard pass from Maye to rookie TE Eli Raridon and the Patriots led 7-0.

The hits comes fast and probably the worst thing about any sport, especially contact sports, are all the injuries.

NE 7 to 0

Not real entertaining so far unless you like defensive battles it is still 7-0 Pats at the half.

Seahawks have some dudes.

Now for the Patriots AJ Brown has an ankle injury and is out probably for the rest of the game.

Pats get a 50-yard FG to now led 10-0 with still 11:48 left in the 3rd quarter.
