I would say it is about 98%! I too am talking to people directly involved and they are uncertain as to what may or may not happen at this point. They are telling me that they are simply going to let this thing play itself out and not jump the gun. We posters should do the same. I commend Walton for their attempt to keep rumors and speculation from running rampid.

Is Ballinger and McNeil out?

Still some work to do Tiger but yes it looks like Danny Trame is Walton's new head coach. Congratulations Danny! Walton is certainly on solid ground.

It is very professional because that is what they have to do. Now if you mean is it fair, probably not. I agree it can be misleading and time consuming for others but such is life.

Southern Kentucky Hoops had a different prespective about the Bearcats in a post on 2-8-2009. Doesn't sound like he shares your opinion about the Bearcat faithful.

Absoultely. The freshman class is very strong. Good size, long and athletic. The 7th grade class is really something special. I think they finished their regular season undefeated with their only lose coming in the round of 16 at the state tournament where I was told they did not play up to thier potential. This coming from the coach that handed them the lose. They have a very good youth program that is developing some very good players and some really good teams. Expect WV to be on very solid ground and a strong contender in the 8th region for many years to come.

Big pro is the talent that they have on the way.

No offers thus far. Trame is your prime candidate. I'm sure there will be others contacting the school to apply. Expect a decision after the state tournament would be my guess.

Oh, no offense at all taken for throwing the younger and very talented Bearcats from Walton under the bus. "You can't do that at Walton"? Maybe in the past that has been the case but I have seen these younger teams play and I understand they have built a development feeder program that is top notch. Careful what you say. If you ask me, contending for a regional championship is exactly what the Bearcats will be doing for the next several years. The only thing I agree with you on is your percentage rating of Wright coming back to Walton.
