Sounds like a good game. From the early season it looks like Montgomer Co. is still the top team of the 10th, but contenders for the #2 ranked team might be up for grabs. Any thoughts?

These two teams were scheduled to play in the Bracken Co. Tip Off Classic on Friday. I have never seen a report on this game. Does any one have a score and details/stats?

Thanks KY Buckeye. I wasn't sure how they do. So basically they just play 20 regular season games, is that a law from OSHAA? The postseason I never understood but that helps me understand. I just know in KY that almost all teams will get in around 30 games.

I was reading the basketball preview in the Ledger earlier today. Noticed that Georgetown, Ohio was 2007 state champs with a record of 28-0. Last year they were division champs and sectional semi-finalist, I believe that is right, with a record of 18-3. I am not familiar with Ohio basketball but was wondering why they play so few a games. As state champs just 28, and a good season last year and just 21 games.

The Lady Panthers lack size and leadership (as they are young), but they are quick, athletic, and scrappy. Should be fun to watch them develop as the season goes on.

1995 38th District First Round Augusta played a great game and was in control until late in the fourth quarter when Deming went on a spurt to pull it out. That was a great game.
