I give this one to the Bearcats , hope they can get their offense going .

In the past Dustin does not like to bang inside , he likes to take the shot. He may get a bit bigger , but I would say hes close to done.

Congrats to Cooper ! And to the Bearcats for not giving up when down at the half. After watching another Walton game , I truley think that Bearcats need to re-think their offense and play calling ( IMO ) and put some work in with the Def backs at practice. Good job Jags & bearcats.

With enrollment the way it is probably not for a few years yet. It would be nice because WV's got some good players coming up from the pee wee age group now.

I have not seen Cooper but was told that they match up with Walton fairly even. Walton is learning how to win now and it looks like Cooper is too.

Ask my wife , expressing myself is not a strong point of mine.

Walton aloud 2 scores on defence , 1 with the varsity squad & 1 with the JV squad. For Walton thats pretty good. I was not referring to Beth Haven playing good defence at all !

Correct about that. Walton needs to improve on special teams and their Def -backs.:thumb:

Waltons JV team is the 9th & 10th grade players and a few jrs. They don't have a 9th grade team only.

Great Bearcat defence and pressure up the middle all day. No one stand out but a coaches game. Everyone did their job! Beth Haven ran the opening kick off back for a 6-o score. WV returned the following kick off to the 1 yard , WV scored next play and it was defence after that.

Good showing by Carroll , good luck. Bearcats keep your heads up you fought a good team today. Blocking and tackle , no matter what level.

A little info please . Is Eminence that good or Bracken that bad ?

If the Bearcats can keep it close for the first 3 quarters , I believe they can pull out a win at home.

Bearcats jump out to a 13 -0 lead 1st quarter. After that they became self destructive on offense. The o -line just wasn't there tonight. The defense kept them safe up to the final minutes of the 4 th when Bishop scored.

Waltons student section has not been great in any sport the last several years. Hopefully Friday nights might help change that. Coach Woody our founder had a nice article in Sundays paper , might be the first time Walton ever made the Sunday paper for sports. Good luck with Carroll next week!

Congratulations WV. The team looked good today and they were elated about their first win!!

From where I sat , Dayton didn't have any TDs called back. They did however have quite a few penalties called.

A few large guys in size , small in numbers on the sidelines. They had some speed also.
