Agree. Plus pretty sure 4 tough teams(Ryle,Holmes,South Laurel, and NCC) compared to Lloyd 2 tough teams (Beechwood and LCA) makes HC have the tougher schedule.:flame:

Why would Josh even worry about playing this game in his condition. No offense to Scott, but lets be honest they are going to go down wether or not Josh is in the game. So why even risk it?

Newport and Dayton are deffinately harder than NCC and Ryle. Without a doubt!

I think if Cov Cath gets seven at all it will be late in the game with the majority of players on the field freshman.

I still say why. With Marcel running the option he can still make those moves he is now and still throw the ball. But Roenker isn't the kind of back that jukes out his oppentent much less anyone, he is the back the runs people down and gets those yards needed on 3rd and 3. Marcel as allusive as he is is much m,ore help around the side on a speed opition. Along with Andy still passing the ball by surprise on the half back pass. You can't disagree with me here.

I don't understand why everyone is putting single digits up for Dayton. The Tigers allowed 22 on them against Bracken County.

Yes it is true, HC has lost by 14 in most of their loses. But for the exception of Holmes it has been anyones game in the third quarter. Look for HC doing a little more conditioning this week. If I were HC I would even change the years slogan to finish because it has seemed to be a little tough for them so far being 1-4. This record shows anything can help.

Yes, I was at the game. From what I could see either Marcel was forced to throw on the run, which then is when he was yes not to accurate. Or when he did get it to the receiver they couldn't hold on. Also I think leaving Marcel at Quarterback is the spark that HC offense needs.Plus you can't base his performance on one game. He was obviously focused on running the ball because he is a play-maker and that was what was working that night with running all those options.

Now why would you do that mid season? Marcel is throwing on target. Just sometimes doesn't get that lucky catch he needs every now and then to keep him going. Plus I don't beleive Andy Roenker has a negative rushing yard all year.

If Newport doesn't take this one they need to rethink their entire program.

Okay I agree, maybe went a bit to far. But Beechwood is extremely good for a 1A school. Of course this is really their first challenge with that schedule they've had so far.

Neico Teipel is extremely good, but where was he there on that touchdown from Van Sant? From the replay it was almost like he should have threw a block for him on the way in for six.

Yea but by the way Beechwood is playing I'd say they could play extremely strong against most schools in KY. Except for of course the Louisville Males, St. X's, and the Trinity's.
