Yes he did turn it down. The committee that is charge is a joke. No one on it has any knowledge about football at all. I don't know what they do now. It has become a laughing stock all over the county and region now it is statewide.

He decommitted a week or two ago and is going to EKU now.

I understand what you are saying. But too much baggage our Super got rid of Coach Mills because of minor issues and McPeek has had a major issues makes no sense to me. If he takes the job he won't be here long.

Bell County is a train wreck. No disrespect to McPeek but if we are going to hire him with all of his baggage we should have kept Coach Mills.

I think this is a bad mistake IMO. I didn't like that when that was done a few years ago. If they have passed this through the have slipped another one on the coaches.

I honestly don't know. I think it could be but with the people we have in charge of hiring who knows.

His brother used to live in Bell County but he doesn't anymore. I think he moved to Richmond.

I don't think he will be the next head coach.

It is pretty bad here. The support is out the window and there isn't any quality coaches a that are willing to help. All of the former assistants were fired and it is my understanding that none of them will be returning to the sidelines.

I don't think so. There won't be any jobs for the assistants.
