Didn't you say the same thing about Ashland?

I thought Scott did a good job on adjusting the blitz pick up.

O'Bryan played the whole game for Ashland but was a non factor. I really like the way Ashland's RB Brown runs the ball. Very hard runner that's tough to bring down. Baker was obviously still hurt. You could see it when he walked. Should not have been in the game. Scott tackled poorly tonight. They have to tackle better next Friday. Great job by the Eagles for not giving up. They took over the game after the first quarter. Congrats to Ashland on their season.

And just for the heck of it. Stats below were both against Rowan. Ashland was 6-7 passing for 100 yards and 1 TD. Scott was 5-6 passing for 87 yards 1 TD and 1 Int.

Here are some interesting comparisons against the same opponent Rowan Cty. Ashland ran the ball 28 times against Rowan for an average of 10.9 ypc. Scott ran the ball 28 times against Rowan for an average of 10.4 ypc. Rowan ran the ball 53 times against Ashland for an average of 3.2 ypc. Rowan ran the ball 62 times against Scott for an average of 4.9 ypc.

And they used all four downs to get the 1st down many times. Their coaches did a tremendous job in game planning. They did a good job at keeping Scott's Offense off the field by pounding the running attack. They were truly 3 yards and a cloud of dust. Rowan would have 10-15 play drives eating up 8 mins on the clock and Scott would have 3-5 play drives eating up 2 minutes on the clock. Scott outgained Rowan on the ground and in the air while I bet Rowan held a 2-1 time of possession advantage. Great coaching job by the Rowan Cty staff.

I told folks last year when he was just a Freshman that when he graduates he will have been the best football player in Scotts history. I see nothing to change that opinion. The young man is a special talent.

I'm as big of a Burfict fan as there is but I thought he looked slow today and just a little heavy. No where near the Vontaze Burfict we are used to seeing which is expected.

Scott starts a lot of sophomore linemen and they did a decent job tonight. This game was good for them.

Colton Williams appeared to leave the game with an injury. Hope he is ok.

I really like this game being the last game of the year for Scott. The Eagles play a lot of Sophomores and this will be good for them. They will not face a team as good as SK in the 4A playoffs. I think this game will help them going forward in the playoffs no matter the outcome. Good luck to both teams!

He is the best lineman I have seen in NKY this year.

I believe Kincaid broke the SK interception record. Not sure if it was for a season or career.
