It is true two more players Justin Cremeans and Michael, not sure his last name.

I heard that two more players had just quite this week do you know if this is true? I'm not sure but I think their names are Justin and Michael . If this is true the boys are really down and we as GCHS fans have to do something for these boys. I hate to see them struggling this way. :cry:

Right on the money this is exactly what we have done all year some are even calling the red zone the dead zone now. The defense was doing alot better but now with Grayson out who knows.

I too heard about Grayson,this will hurt us on the line. I hope the boys can stick together and hold their heads up high. PLAY HARD GCHS,and remember the fans and parents are still behind you 100% no matter our record.

I guess you could say I'm wondering if Coach Sammons is the right coach for GCHS? As RAM posted the record is 9-20 in three years. :confused:

I was just wondering if someone coud tell me who makes these decisions for the schools ? Also does anyone know the total of wins and defeats for Greenup countys coach Sammons.(since he has been at GCHS?)

I'm not sure what his # was but his name was Spencer Means.

I believe it is a little bit of it all. Coaching ,the boys get tired of playing for a team that is always losing. Yes they did make it to win their district last year but they have been teased about not really deserving to be there. And after the game friday night against Raceland, in the huddle the coach told the boys that it dosen't matter that they lost that they are 1 and 0 as far as district. As far as players quitting we just had a Junior player quit last week. And alot of transfers to other schools to play for them. Lack of discipline I'm not real sure if the boys even respect their coaches so you kinda get the picture . I have always wondered if some of these good coaches from like Russell for example coached a game for the GCHS what would happen? I just hate seeing the team keep losing because the boys try so hard . Oh well maybe fridays game will be better .:thumb: Good Luck GCHS ! Play Hard.:dancingpa

As far as being out played I'm not sure the boys can only do as they are told to do by the coaches. Now as for being out coached you gotta an A+. I don't know why but the coaches just can't seem to adjust when needed. I know that there is plenty of talent on the gchs team so why can't the coaches seem to get it out of the players? :confused:

Corey Lyle did okay but I believe the coaches need to let some of the other players do some of the running. Almost every play made was by Corey and if we can see that in the stands then so can the other team. We have lots of talent like #25,#26 etc so why not use them. The Greenup freshman won the score was 9 to nothing way to go boys and keep it up . Very nice interception by # 28 at the end of the game .:dancingpa

I'm going with Greenup . I believe in them and I know if they play as hard as they did against Wheelersburg then it can be done . Best of luck boys and have a safe game.

There is to much focused on offense at gchs practice and not on defense . The boys don't even get to hit that much so when it is game time they are not ready for the challenge . I hope something changes and fast before the boys just give up.

I agree they did give up it seems if a few of the good players get hurt and have to come out then everyone else just wants to quite .

STAY FOCUSED,hit the weights and work together as a team. I wish the boys a great season they work hard and deserve another winning year....GO GCHS......
