  1. I have to say I agree with you.
  2. Sticking to my 10-3, I think Beechwood comes out swinging in my opinion.
  3. As for picks I am taking CCH to win the district, but I am taking Beechwood to beat CCH in the region finals.
  4. Beechwood and Holmes were rained out last week and just got the game in last night, so I am guessing they made an exception.
  5. CCH vs. Beechwood in the finals like has been in the last few years. The district final will no doubt be a war but both teams in the Region already I would expect a high scoring game. I'm taking CCH in the district final, but I am picking Beechwood to beat CCH in the 9th region final. The 35th usually starts by playing on a Monday and finishes up on a Wedsnesday.
  6. I have to agree with you. The Regular season does not mean a thing in the long run and don't get me wrong the Bellevue is playing some great baseball right now. They have enough to knock one team off I do believe but to win it all, they just do not have enough this year.
  7. Look at Ryle, CCH, Boone, Beechwood, Campbell County, etc. they all play schedules that are playing competition all over the state for example. I wasn't referring to any school just giving an example, no school in particular.
  8. That does make some sense there. Stats are just a nice thing for the kids to see their names in the paper in my opinion. Everyones stats are going to be different because they are all playing different levels of competition. For example you can have a kid who is hitting right at .300 but is playing against all the big schools in the state. Now does that mean some kid that is hitting ..400 playing a local schedule is a better hitter? Of course not. The only way the stats would mean anything would be if everyone played the same teams and same level of competition.
  9. Have to agree with Coach G here I think Slusher and Smith from Beechwood will be up there as well.
  10. No reason to beat you up on that one, I agree with you 100%. The competition is completely different.
  11. Don't forget about Elliott at Beechwood as well.
  12. I have to say I agree with you 100% on that one.
  13. The draw is perfectly fine for a JV tournament. There is no way you can seed with teams that have kids bounce around from JV to Varsity. The blind draw is the fair way to do it.
  14. Either Farris or Maile will hit the most this year. They will also be well earned ones because these boys are not seeing that many pitches to hit.
  15. NCC does have a really good freshman team from what I have been told. CCH is down this year on the freshman level, so I am going with Campbell County, Beechwood, and Ryle as the favorites as well as NCC for the freshman regional.
  16. I just do not see them being a contender this year, they do have some young talent and anything could happen, but in my opinion they do not have a chance this year.
  17. They do not have enough pitching to get past the CovCath, Beechwood, or Ryle.
  18. St. Henry is the nicest field in NKY in my opinion. The seating is great and the field size is bigger than most parks as well.
