That doesnt surprise me, Myerhoff has a tendancy to say things like that when his team is down. Its sad to hear that from a coach that has been around for as long as he has.

I like Ryle in this one but not by much. IMO Boone is one of the best hitting teams in the 9th. However they are very sloppy defensivly and dont have an overpowering pitcher. Ryle plays good defense and finds ways to score runs even though they dont have any studs at the plate.... Ryle by about 2 runs.

How about Mcgraw? Has anyone heard or have an idea where and if he is playing college ball?

Covcath will be good this year, but I dont think they have the talent they need to compete with the better teams in the state. They are big but they dont have very much speed or athleticism. Its a shame becasue the school has some great athletes who could make a huge impact on the team, but they choose not to play due to other sports.

Poorly executed game offensivly by Covcath.They left way too many runners on base. Defensivly there isnt much too say, Ryle put the ball where Covcath wasnt, Ryle didnt hit the ball real great, they just kept it in play. Also a few misjudged balls in the outfield and a line drive to the third baseman that was dropped, cost Cov Cath some runs. But overall it just wasnt Covcaths day. Nice win by Ryle

What are Towles pitching stats like so far this year? I heard alot of good about him before the season started, but havent heard his name much since then..

Cov Cath in a close one. I think the way they are playing right now is too much for Beechwood. However, if CCH plays like they did early in the season this game could be ugly.
