The annual Beechwood vs. CovCath 35th District Seeding game is this Thursday April 17th at CovCath. What are your thought on this game.

If Elliot pitches, I say Beechwood wins.

Don't think that CovCath will be pitching any of their front line pitchers on Tuesday or Wednesday this time around with the Beechwood seeding game coming up on Thursday. The Beechwood game is a must win game, and my guess is Krumps will want ever single starter ready for that game.

 

Even the weather forecast is calling for a pleasant day on Thursday, and if you want to get a seat, or even a spot to see this game, I would suggest you arrive around 4:30pm. The place with temps in the low 70's and a Beechwood vs. CovCath game, always brings out a huge crowd of not only our two schools fans, but baseball fans from all around NKy as well.

Personally, I am looking forward to seeing Mr. and Mrs. Elliott again. Great kid, wonderful parents.

Oh you don't want another double forfeit? I don't think that will happen this time. Beechwood will have Elliott on the mound but the question is, who do they have in relief? They have a tough week, playing Dixie Monday, Conner Tuesday, and then Cov Cath Thursday. I think this is a pitchers dual, not many runs, good defense, and a lot of excitement.:dancingpa

Not sure what you have seen. If you are basing all on one Connor game you are sorely mistaken. Any of the CovCath starters could give the Tigers fits. Elliot will always be a tough out but you have to deal with it and I know all the Beechwood players will be up for this game. CCH in a close one 5-4.

Cov Cath plays well again at home and pulls this one out.

Kind of surprised this game wasn't set up at the Freedom. It's certainly a marquee matchup.

 

Elliott keeps BHS in the game no matter how much BHS bats struggle. Should be a terrific game, but CCH just can't match the BHS pitching and therefore I will go with BHS in a close one (4-2).

Unfortunately I can only base it on the Conner game, however I did get to see Niehaus, and Sainola and neither looked to great IMO. Maybe they both just had rough outings, I'm not sure.

Cov Cath in a close one. I think the way they are playing right now is too much for Beechwood. However, if CCH plays like they did early in the season this game could be ugly.
