Cory Rieder gets the win, Etch threw 2 three up three down innings in relief.

Sonoma (sp) gets the loss. Nicer weather brought out the Raider bats tonight.

Which also sounds exactly like what occurred in the previous game (but with CCH taking advantage of their opportunities that time). I'd say these teams are pretty evenly matched.

Poorly executed game offensivly by Covcath.They left way too many runners on base. Defensivly there isnt much too say, Ryle put the ball where Covcath wasnt, Ryle didnt hit the ball real great, they just kept it in play. Also a few misjudged balls in the outfield and a line drive to the third baseman that was dropped, cost Cov Cath some runs. But overall it just wasnt Covcaths day. Nice win by Ryle

Who hit for CCH besides the usual suspects Maile & Darner?

The top of the lineup hit well but the bottom couldn't get it done.

I was supprised Coach Roesel green lighted some base runners today. They stoled 2 out of 3 tonight. Gotta get those runners in scoring position without giving up an out on a bunt or hit and run.

Darner hit a 3 run shot to center, Maile went 2 for 4 I think, single and a double, both to left.

CCH will win the 9th.
