No I dont think so. The Camel faithful headed for the cars after the 1st inning because of the rain and the wind as did the Ryle fans. The score was 2-0 Ryle. Speaking of looking for an out why would you want the game to end after 5 innings because of rain. You dont know what could happen with those extra 9 at bats if they play 7 innings. :cry::cry::cry:

Oh! it was in great shape because unlike Ryle they were actually ahead of the game when it came to taking care of their field. And even though they ( Harrison County dont have the best field in the world they do take care of it and dont have a little league or softball back stop.:irked::irked::irked:

The temp was 37 degrees it was raining from the first inning. The game should never have been played since it was supposed to be played at Campbell County to begins with. The coach from Ryle was begging to get this game in since his team played so well over the weekend. This game was ludicrous at best in this weather. Shame on you Ryle!!!!!

Was he a tall thin right hander named Shane Craine.

I have seen PK play short and he has alot of range with his length. I dont think 2nd would be out of the question with some additional infield practice with Lefever. He also has a very strong accurate arm.:ylsuper:

I know the competition wasnt that great but to finally see the kids playing game in and game out without making fundamental errors was very promising. They were just starting to jell as a team and as everyone should know when you play together and pull for each other you can accomplish alot. The Camels have alot of talent not great talent but good solid players and can do some good things and noone seems to count them amongst some of the better teams in Northern Kentucky. Soon or later though they will get on a roll and when they do they will beat some good teams. They had Lex.Christ. beat 4-2 until they had tons of errors in the 6th inning. OK enough of my ramblings.:walk:

I dont understand why people dont give Brandon Lafever his due. The kid could play baseball from the time he put his glove on. People look at size and think because he isnt that big that he couldnt possibly be that good. Well this is just my opinion and as we all know ( everyone has one ). He is the best defensive player on the team. I dont understand why they dont play him at short and use Krumme at second. Krumme can hit the ball and just needs the opportunity to play. The kid hit .450 in summer ball in SWOL. Just one more observation, The Kentucky Kids were a good summer league team during their time, they had good coaching and great kids, however the other players have caught up with them now and if Cov Cath wants to seriously compete with the boys from Louisville and Lexington they need to give these other players a chance. If Brandon is half as good a player as Mike Lafever was then you have one heck of a ball player.:thumb:

Yes sir the coaches certainly do. I was very skeptical and I am not afraid to say that I was wrong. They have done a good job win or lose.
