It won't hurt the team at all if Jade don't play but Channing could really help this team if he would accept the role of off guard and not want to play the point, he is a slasser and not a point guard. JMO!

Heard the Salyers' kid was the starting WR for PCC. Talk with Coach Brown the other day and he says this kid has great hands and could be a big help this yr. for his team, any thoughts.

Noble is the only one on the team that should be considered. Taulbee had a good season last yr. because the teams always looked out for Hollan and Smith wait and see this yr. about Taulbee, he stays in foul trouble trying to block shots and his jumping is the best thing about him. As for the Cong. kid he sit out a yr. and know way will he be one of the top players in the 14th this yr. sorry JMO!

Just found out today that Nick is going out for football he was at practice yesterday, that was his first practice.

Nick is not going to play football. Basketball only!

PCC has one of the better Coaching staff's in Ky. Not only did they hire Bentley but also S. Hoskins, to go with Hatcher and D. Fugate.

Channing is staying at Breathitt but him nor Allen is going to play basketball, so the lone newcomer is Nick, they will be better than last yr. just because of Coach Noble but not close to the top 4. I don't think Hazard will win it this yr. because Coach Hollan told that Campbell and Whit. is already into it with each other, with Campbell saying he was not getting enough tosses in summer ball. But with this talent that Hazard has they still will have to be #1 until someone knock's them off, but look what happen to JBS last yr.

Talk with Mr. Neace of PCC this afternoon and he informed me that the Salyers kid is now at PCC and he was talking about what a nice young man he is and what at great addition to the school system he will make. I think that he said that Josh had a 3.96 grade pt. avg. as well as being a good ballplayer. This should be a big help to PCC. Said he coundn't understand why the Supt. Arch Turner made a statement last week in a meeting that he didn't want this kid back in his school system. Breathitt's lost PCC gain!

From what I've heard is that the Salyers' Family is in M. Beach and that when they get back that the Salyers kid will be going to PCC because of what Supt. Arch Turner has been stating around the Co. about not wanting him back. I know that Josh and his Dad like's Coach Noble and his family very much and that Josh and Nick is best friends, but in my opion this will hurt Breathitt very much because Josh is a very good inside player and that is something that Breathitt doesn't have. Josh would have maybe been, besides Nick the best player on the team. But you can't say things about Kids and get by with it.

How many players will come back now that Doug was hired!

Fletch, talk with the Salyers kid dad today said it didn't matter who they hired at Breathitt that his Son was coming to play for Coach Hatcher, told me that he had been in sports for over 35 yrs. and that Coach Hatcher was the best Coach that he had been around and that he had alot of respect for Hatcher, so that is good news for PCC. I agree, I know Doug is a class act person as well as a good coach, if Arch would hire him and then leave him alone like he does the football program then I think by the end of the year the Bobcats would be right there in the hurt for the championship. I think that this is right but my understanding is that if Doug stays at Owsley and if Nick stays then the Salyers kid is coming there also. I know he is playing summer ball with PCC but the kid hasn't played in a year and I think that is good that he is travling and playing and with what I have heard is that he is doing quite well at PCC he is either the first man off the bench or he is in the starting lineup and Coach Hatcher is really inpressed with him. I know that early in the spring that Mr. Salyers was coaching Owsley's AAU team and they had a big win against South Laural and Mr. Salyers and Coach Noble are good friends and what if Noble does get hired will Salyers come back and help Noble coach, that would be a start of a good coaching staff. Let me tell you I can't believe that you name these players and left of Justice from S. Valley I'm from Breathitt Co. and seen Justice play several times this summer and he is by far the best guard in the mountains if not the best player, and I have seen Cox, Whitaker and the rest play and he is one cool cat.

You are bad wrong about the Hazard game because the Varsity Bulldogs left on wedsday the day before they played Breathitt on and out of town trip that would last thur the weekend, now that is 100% facts.

It came from a good source, that I have about 90 to 95% faith in so that is a pretty co source.

Let's get the story right about what happen to Banks, First the Noble and Salyers kids left and then Allen and Fugate, then last week Banks went to Knott Co. at the Sportsplex and wouldn't play Perry Central or Hazard on Monday and came back on Thur. and beat Owsley by 1 pt. and then lost to Hazard's JV team by about 40. And Arch told him he wasn't going to have a team to lose to a JV team like that and also told Banks that he was the one in fault for running all the players off. That is 100% facts:

This is the best thing that could happen to this program with Banks leaving, a couple yrs. ago these young men that was coming out of Middle School that will be Jrs. this year should have completed not only for the region title but also the state title that how much talent they had. If Supt. Turner was smart he would try and hurry up and hire Doug Noble because he could get most of these players back. I know that Nick Noble would come with him and also the Salyers kid that is playing with perry central this summer would maybe be back, so they need to make a quick move.:banana:
