Talk with Mr. Neace of PCC this afternoon and he informed me that the Salyers kid is now at PCC and he was talking about what a nice young man he is and what at great addition to the school system he will make. I think that he said that Josh had a 3.96 grade pt. avg. as well as being a good ballplayer. This should be a big help to PCC. Said he coundn't understand why the Supt. Arch Turner made a statement last week in a meeting that he didn't want this kid back in his school system. Breathitt's lost PCC gain!

PCC also picked up a great addition to their coaching staff. They have hired former Hazard big man Jon Bentley as their assistant

PCC has one of the better Coaching staff's in Ky. Not only did they hire Bentley but also S. Hoskins, to go with Hatcher and D. Fugate.

Too bad the coaches can't play in the games! Yes it is good to have quality coaches, but the players have to play all the minutes, so you have to have some skilled players if you are going to get out of this region.

Noble is an outstanding shooter. Maggard good inside post person. Amis is at point needs to improve left hand. D. Amis has intangibles and gives 110%.

 

Slow offense gives teams fits. Look for a much improved record this year.
