I thought GRC was a top 20 team or was at least preseason rated top 20 in the state. And Madisonville has a top 25 team or so don't they? They have the #1 player in the state and Elliott won both those game's with east with over 20 pt wins in both. Did you watch the tournament at Inez, KY where Scott Co. played that WV team. Scott won the first half, but WV won the second and didn't look near as impressive as EC did. Agreed Scott Co. did represent KY well tonight.

I think based on the what I've read on here, Oak Hill Academy is #1 in the Nation now. After the D'ville loss to them yesterday.

And after watching them play at the Scrimmage last week in Inez. I seriously think Elliott County can play with any team in the state and nation. Without Phares last week, it's a good thing they didn't play EC, cause EC would have won hands down. With Phare's it would be a very exciting game.

No way could East get anywhere near Elliott. They just don't have the talent. After watching Elliott romp on Madisonville with the #1 player in the state. Nobody in the 16th can handle them. As for West being EC's rival, you're right. But their 92-93 team was there best in years, but choked in the big game against Rowan Co. in the Reg. Tourn.

Anybody now who is in it this year.

Elliott Co. plays Anderson Co. in the Kentucky bank classic

Elliott Co. if I am not wrong only has 321 students in grades 9 through 12.

What's this about "The Real Mason Co." showing up Friday? It looked to me as if they showed up tonight, but Elliott just outplayed them at times. You act as if it were some kind of fluke that EC kept up with them. Outside of the zebra's choking on their whistles the last 2 min. of the game. Elliott Co. WINS this ballgame.

I would have loved to seen EC pull the upset. We were gonna storm the floor.. hehe Best HS game I've ever witnessed. Proud of those Faulkner boys and all the rest too. Already getting excited waiting on next year.

That was the never ending 3 pointer, man I thought that shot was never gonna drop. And when it fell, I fell out of my seat...

I just got home from the game myself. Elliott had this game won if not for the zebra's choking on their whistles as previously mentioned. I'm very proud of my boys down in Sandy Hook. They've got heart like I've never seen at the high school level. Congrat's on a great season guys, and looking forward to next year.
